  1. The leaking won't be due to them being wound up. Maxspeedingords coilovers are cheap and are renowned for leaking after a few months. The internet is full of people moaning about them leaking. For some years I ran eg coilover on my mb6 rears were maxed out but still sat low. Fronts had a lot more adjustment. But always worked and handled just fine.
  2. I recall the headliner has to come down
  3. Cars fell foul of Corona virus. Parts not turned up, knuckles still locked in mechanics I've the road. No sign of him for weeks. So cars stuck on stands filthy. Not good.
  4. Well that's good. Sure will get sorted. Yeah different garage for sure. If be wanting a word with the current garage
  5. They snap so easily. Only need to do the cover nuts up to 7nm or something like that. Not tight at all.

    MB6 problem

Have you checked fuses? Engine bay aswell?
  8. Oh ffs really sorry mate. What a pain. Nothing worse that having car somewhere so long then being dissapointed. I'm sure it's all redeemable. It's a shame your not down this way as Rich is the man for that sort of repair. You would never know it's been done.

    Fuel pump

The inertia switch is behind the centre console plastic driver's side. But yes you'd be best checking you have power going to the pump before going to do the pump. It's a pain on your own trying to remove the fuel tank.

    Fuel pump

The fuel pump can only be accessed from under the car, have to lower the tank. what your looking at is the fuel gauge sender.
  11. Ive not fitted one but can imagine it's a bit of messing about to get the asr brace one. Subframes a slightly different shape to eg and abs lines are there aswell. Sure it's doable tho
  12. Seen this in Facebook a lot. Really nice car. Colours lovely.
  13. Yeah it's madness isn't it. Hideous to imagine the shaft breaking as they so frequently do spinning round smashing things up
  14. I also use j and r shafts. No damper. I beat the crap out of them there great value for money and no balance issues
  15. Oh dear . Honda's do that a lot when they get old.
  16. So managed to get inner ends off. Random there's no flats to get a spanner on like on me old eg. Had to get a pair of grips on the go. So just waiting on the new bits to turn up to reassemble. Hoping this lot transforms the car. As the handling has been a big bug bear for me. And has developed many clunks since the power has been upped, Obviously stressing the already tired parts. So will be a complete new front end.
  17. Yes tbf @Dave can soon blast it out. I've hit a rut now tho aswell. Other side cannot get the nut off the inner rack end totally seized. So need to get new inners and boots really
  18. Taking advantage of not having much work on so started the suspension refurb. New track rod end super pro droplink and hardrace upper arm. Polybushed the lower arm and ARB. Need to get the coilovers picked up asap and unfortunately my spare knuckles with new bearings and ball joints are in the garage over the road who is shut
  19. Should suit it well I recon. With dark wheels.
  20. Oil cooler is now plumbed in ready for the summer. I do have a thermostatic filter block aswell. But need to have think about how to mount it. So this will do for now.
  21. Small steps but done my first task for suspension overhaul. Rear ARB cleaned up painted new droplinks and bushes.
  22. Lovely car mate. Colours well nice
