Good work on the rust repair -
True, that's what I hoped... I'll see how well these moog ones last, have read good things about their parts when looking into ball joints

Nice bit of kit

Just picked the car up after getting the ball joints done, and have to say, although it's nicer not having one that feels like it's wandering around a bit, it definitely felt more planted with the extended ball joints... Still, it seems like my car goes through them so quick I've got to see them as a service part, and can't be forking out over a hundred quid each time.

I worked my way through a pack of wet and dry when i did it, just fell a bit short on the polishing i reckon... Was doing it by hand though

Looks like i just need to get busy with the polishing again then To be honest I never quite finished it off and although it was nice and shiny it was never properly smooth.

I was looking into this a while ago but ended up putting it into the too hard box for my crap knowledge of electronics. Did get as far getting a wiper stalk from an accord which has the variable dial on (but not the rear wiper control)... Use for the redundant a/c button? On some hondas you can just swap the control box with one which has the function, but every time i emailed someone breaking as accord they didn't have a clue what i was talking about Will be really interested in this one

think that the bearings must have been on the way and the motor burned itself out... stunk the car out something rotten.
-
Get a new motor ASAP! Mine did this, then one morning smoke started belching out of it... Luckily I was just setting of from home, and had a screw driver in the car to disconnect the motor.

I'm under the impression that legend ones are a straight swap as well... Same size disks though?

Oh, and if the consoles never been out be prepared to struggle with the screws under the handbrake...

What he said.. Deffo at least one behind that you need to expose. I remember someone posted an extract from the service manual once showing the locations.

HELP!! No sidelights, No Instrument Lights, No taillights
dr_broon replied to Civicnige's topic in Electrical
Have you still got the fog lights on when you try the lights? Just wondering because of where they are they are more susceptible to damage / water -
The sensor isn't there... It's just the p72 map on the chip is looking for it because it doesn't realise that it's a p72 brain in a p28 body It's just an option in the software apparently.
