Also have had experience with one on a slip road getting up to speed... Was accelerating faster than him but not as much as expected. Checked up afterwards and they've got decent 0-60 times.

Cheers. I've got a dc2 manifold on and it's a heat shield for that It's funny because I spent ages polishing the manifold when I got it, and then hid it with a heat shield I know about the wheels... Keep meaning to get the winters refurbed the same colours as the summers

Could be on to something... Will be interesting to see how you get on. Definitely agree that the stiffer bar at the rear helps combat understeer.

Could be the immobiliser in the key as well... Mine went through a funny patch a couple of months ago where it was as if the battery was flat.. If i took the key out and turned it around it would start.

Haven't been in the deck (apart from many swapping of ecu and fault reading) since before Christmas) so took her for a spin this morning because the battery was a bit on the flat side. Did a bit of whoring as well to show off some of the new blue additions and because I'd washed her the other day.
