  1. So i like cars with flat backs... I prefer the audi rs avants to normal rs, subaru wagons to the hatch.... And that's why i loved my eg... Flat back (just a lot shorter than the deck). Think that kris had something though to say that all ms need a bit of a makeover really... even if it's just some wheels. But then so do most cars
  2. I'd guess it'd be the same fitting as ep3/dc5/ek.
  3. Yeah, I could tell that something felt a bit sloppy on the steering recently, so the track rod end isn't too much of a suprise (wonder if that's owt to do with the balljoint). Could have been much worse. Also, first mot since getting the sport cat without a friendly tester and passed no bother
  4. Cheers Mot fail today, track rod end, poo handbrake meaning new pads, and abs sensor (which i knew about really) First time she's failed in 8 years.
  5. Good point... Anyone got a driver side rear? Need one ASAP for a mot. @10000rpm ?
  6. So got a duff abs sensor on the rear, and since it's already been changed a year or two ago, would like to stick s new one on, but don't like honda prices. From mooching around on the webs, it looks like mg/rover ones are the same parts (as well as maybe eg6 / dc2).... Anyone know anything about it? Rimmer bros have them for £100 - less than half of honda price Links http://www.findpart.org/part/bos-0265006268/ http://www.vehiclepartsdatabase.com/vehicles/allprivateroadvehicles/honda/civicviaerodeck/1816v/b18c4/11611/abswheelspeedsensors/vemo/v26720058 http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-SSB100720
  7. Been a while since I've seen your thread mate, cars looking ace as always and the seat's look cool 😎
  8. Will be sorry to see this go jake. Hope that it goes for a good price and to a good home
  9. Tbh looks like it is the camber that's doing it... It's the driver side one that's noisy and that's the one that's most out. Need to spend some pennies on camber control
  10. Well, it's creaking ball joint time again.. A couple of weeks ago i jacked the car up, grease gun at the ready, wheel off... Huh? Only have to take the ball joints out to get to the grease nipple! Sheesh. Spent ages trying to do the hammer technique but it wasn't going anywhere (looks like the threaded shaft is a bit bent), so i gave up. Somehow though, the efforts stopped the creaking (may have been all the lube i sprayed on trying to get the ball joint out?). It's came back, so definitely need greasing properly, but the question is why does my car eat ball joints (or at least make them dry out)?
  11. And make sure you paint it before you get it on there..
  12. I am indeed - any idea where in Durham they are?
