  1. or could try to bung up the hoses but will stop choke ,not a problem with hot exhaust testing and light should go off.. don't need choke anyway ie : below 149F/ 65C sends intake air to injectors
  2. May be different pipe size only, otherwise should work , or repair yours with araldite as looks the easiest and cheapest option
  3. maybe cross reference the part number of the sensor and get a non OE http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/VALVE-COMP-AIR-ASSIST-36281-RTA-003-compatible-cars-Accord-Civic-CM4-2-0L-CM5-RB1/1518018_32408520896.html
  4. Will fail as the MIL light will put the ECU into a safe mode on obd2<or closed loop><or may be other way round> ie: a rich mixture and above the limit for a MOT <as the ecu will loose the learn capability > Depends why its on also so why is it on ?? PS am not a MOT tester
  5. Subjective to get correct offset
  6. 100 posts are needed for the classifieds section
  7. Think I put tie straps on mine
  8. Standard springs, I don't over rev and find at 8500 runs out of power due to the CR although these Cams due increase dynamic CR looking at the green line<not the film> and carry it on to 8500 rpm seems more HP available and what I may be getting as it pulls up to 8500 quite strong its said these cams are hard to tune so be warned and paying 500+ so maybe 98 R cams a better choice
  9. Have a search GSR skunk2 inlet manifold install http://www.performanceforum.com/wesvann/honda/skunk2/skunk2.html http://my.prostreetonline.com/2013/10/17/how-to-install-a-skunk2-b18c-intake-manifold/ http://www.ff-squad.com/technet/how-to/sk2im/
  10. Quote: does your throttle cable catch on the bonnet at all? mine seems to rub on it when lifting off at high rpm bent it out of the way with a mallet .. Regarding pics, have no camara available sorry
  11. See for yourself what they are rated at on the graph
  12. £50 each ish I think have a look at Rimmer brothers site
  13. Dr Broom had issues ,can not remember tbh ? Whers a Doctor when you need one the Dr wrote Finally got the spacers on my front koni shocks to lift the eibach springs a bit (thanks S88HON ) after a little modification. It's much better now, the wheels aren't disapearing into the arches anymore, no more rubbing and I can go over speed bumps without the mud flaps scraping off them... it's still a touch lower than the back, but not really noticable like before. I've also been able to soften the shocks because part of the reason for having them so stiff was to try and stop the scrapes. It's a much more enjoyable ride now... less like a go kart which I do miss a bit, but more grownup and still pretty tight. (I'll try and take some pics later).
  14. Mmm..looks like spring are sagging common with low end springs Maybe Eibach 30mm springs from Germany put standard springs back with the koni for winter snow and save up some £s I got mine from Europe for the S2000,much better price.. How do you want it to ride end of day, hard, low and non compliant <low end coilovers> or smooth and fast nearer to standard ride height with better adjustable damping
  15. deleted my post before you read it !!!! not just realised .. no idea tbh you would have to spend many £s to better the Koni put a picture up maybe ?
  16. Had mine fitted wrong for ages, dont think I was getting any ignition advance..and never felt much gain as you.. got skunk2 tuner 1 cams in mine and teg airbox,dc mani, tegR Bpipe ,twin loop muffler, decat. 8900rpm I don't rev that high<standard valve springs> and 5100 vtec I think, <chip was from USA>. its running very rich on the ecu at low cam, goes well to full rpm on second cam ,set psi higher with a regulator ,ignition set to oem spec. a remap on dyno would be the way for me to sort fuel/ign and at £360 will wait until I am rich .. hope this link helps anyway. edit: pictures are out of date now http://www.clubcivic.com/forum/threads/official-diy-skunk2-intake-manifold-install-gsr.108068/
  17. Sure am Tom the new car tax system helps made enquires for a remap at eurospec for the Mc <may have to wait for that>> £360>
  18. Glad it passed Simon how did you get on this year with the MOT bit of a late reply here my S2k passed with a new secondary sensor fitted a while back now with the 400 cell Berk HFC. Also now fitted with Eibach springs and Federal RSR 595 tyres - rear 255/40/17 & front 225/45/17 Hope to fit permanent wide band thus replacing the narrow band as better/quicker in processing the exhaust data. And the MC2 fitted 5mm hub centric spacers on front to get the OZ 17s within spec offset <in effect from 45 to 40> they fit flush to the outer wheel arch now and very wide track on the front Passed the MOT on second attempt as decat and the chipped ecu was VERY rich. passed 100% with standard ECU & cat and shows the engine is very sweet still And the Polo 1.0 L I topped the gearbox oil up
