Maybe a volt / resistance needed to engage the solenoid valve picked up by a signal via ecu,maybe via an earth more likely as its not a live feed to solenoid.

Sounds like the bearing is failing,it could cause the resistor to overheat and blow if its sticking I recon. I would remove and inspect the motor,and or replace

Should fit ok as DC2 are the same as MB6 MC2 subframes. the only issue would be exhaust down pipe if you have a non OEM one

Done mine in situ 30mins a side Hammer 2 bolts per side undo horizontal and 2 for adjuster horizontal 2xbushes £12 Bit cold for messing outside though

Could cut the end off <were the hole is>10-20mm and refit it. can also use that bit to measure it and fix if needed or get a new pipe or put your finger in the hole.

Sound like a blockage or a valve in the crankcase breather not how it should be,or even a pipe split.!! so drawing oil up from sump and into inlet and burning it hence the oil consumption.. also get a compression test done and compare cylinder readings. may not even need a rebuild.

Honda S2000 seats are nice also in Black leather full black will turn up soon with cards ect if you start mixing bits it will look worse than OE,done that myself...

Could also fit adjustable rear camber arms. also have you check rear Toe In, as that may not be to spec when lowered.
