I think I'd give my misses a nervous breakdown if I lived that close to a place like Autobrite.

That's good then. How does it sound?

That's quite a large box, does it have the amp built in? What size is the sub?

That's true, could be a bit of a handful in the wet. A bit like having 500hp in an rx7 awesome in a straight line but will not go round corners.

This one had a carbon tailgate and carbon front lip, I thought I had a photo of the tailgate but I can't find it. Jonnyricer's old one, with carbon bonnet.

Yes, should do I think as long as it's strong to start with, a turbo D series will work well too and should get similar power done right. A rebuilt block with upgraded internals will see even more, check out Rich's (civicturbo79) old build, 379bhp!! loads of vids on you tube. Research is good, find out what will work best for you, especially if you're keeping it as a daily. Stopping sounds like a good place to start.

Definitely looks a lot worse on no.4. like you say and looks good on the exhaust side, hopefully you'll know more when you get the inlet off. It does look like the heads got to come off again though what ever. I guess you'll know for sure then if it's rings, I do hope not but wouldn't the signs have been there before?

Not that I know of. When I had my R5 painted many years ago, it was done in a pearl blue which was laid straight on top of the original electric blue, then I had a violet flip added which was dusted on finely. Certainly no special undercoats though.

Yeah the purple ping. I've got it from aerosols on my plate recess and grill/badge before.
-
Yep, you can get loads of carbon panels for the eg.

Great stuff. -
Yep, that should be easily achievable without running too much boost at all so room to go further if you want to later.

She's looking well mate, you're doing a good job. Definitely that would be

I don't have any body panels but I have a number plate recess (carbon wrapped), pair of head lights, tail light, instrument cluster, stalks, arb and lots of other bits.
-
I think it's an awesome colour.

Nice caps, my mate was saying he didn't really like Dakota bronze at fest, I slapped him for you.

My custom cat back was £350 two years ago, varies area to area, you should easily get one in budget. As far as sports cats go, I believe they are all 200cels and standard is 400, as long as your emissions are fine it won't be a problem. £200 seems to be the going rate for them. I'm trying to save for one.
-
Absolutely, you might decide you prefer it.
-
I'd imagine so, as long as it gives when you accidentally put pressure on. Probably won't be as good as a sponge though.

Lots of good gear there, don't forget to give us a report when the detailing thread is unarchived. X2 Baby steps mate, baby steps.

Shame the paint didn't turn out how you wanted it. You'll get it next time.
