This is true but as Dave said with just a back box you won't notice much difference, if you got a cat back system that was 2.25" or 2.5" that would make a nice difference especially if you then added a manifold and decat.
-
Bore is the internal diameter of the exhaust pipe (2" on yours iirc). If the B pipe is rusty then you might be best getting hold of a cat back exhaust.
-
7j means 7" wide, 17 is 17" diameter, et40 is the offset (distance the face of the wheel sits from the hub iirc) standard offset is et55 so et40 will sit 15mm further out. You might need spigot rings because our cars are hubcentric which means the wheel needs to locate on the centre of the hub otherwise it won't track properly.
-
When you say inlet do you mean the tailpipe or the actual exhaust bore? Downpipe is the pipe from the manifold where it becomes one pipe. B pipe/middle pipe is the piece from the cat to the back box
-
If the PCD is 4x114 yes but you may need some spigot rings.
-
It looks like a nice example from what I can see but it always worries me when somebody says they've finished the conversion and only done a few miles and they want to sell it.
-
Chassis code, I don't know what it should be but you might find some help here: http://www.mgownersclub.co.uk/index.html or here: http://www.zscentral.com/

MB2 TRINITY D. K26. 23/11/14 BRAND NEW MINI MOD ????????
NIKH25 replied to DAVEMB2's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
It's unlikely to be a relay as when they go they're gone. Probably more likely to be the motor. -
An exhaust place should be able to make it fit.
-
Yep, gunmetal.
-
Nice one, good price too.

x2 have we been released upon the silly fecker?

MB2 TRINITY D. K26. 23/11/14 BRAND NEW MINI MOD ????????

I imagine it probably is. -
I'd explain the reasons why but it's a long complicated story and here's not the place. Plus I'm perfectly happy to be thought of as an old git. I am one. Now b****r off.

Some mods you could get away with as they're unlikely to strip the engine down looking for cams etc. even in that case you have plausible deniability 'the previous owner must've done it'.
-
You'd be mad not to declare it as that would result in a total loss should the worst happen.

MB2 TRINITY D. K26. 23/11/14 BRAND NEW MINI MOD ????????
NIKH25 replied to DAVEMB2's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
There is only one cure and it doesn't bear thinking about. -
Yes, do it, put the rear one where the 1.8vti badge goes.
-
Lol, looks like he only painted one of them though. Lights look and good news on the bracket for the cable.
-
You're exhaust bore is smaller than MB6 so no it won't, you'd have to start by replacing the mani for one with the same size collector as MB6 (1.7" iirc) then use an MB6 cat or decat.
