I had the same symptoms and it was the thermostat Changed it and it has been fine ever since
-
Great answer, I never knew that was the only difference
-
Yes it's the whole ashtray section, it's just plug and play The 45 has an illuminated ciggy lighter surround as oppose to the m's lit up ashtray Mr B - yep just ordered some more today myself:)

They're you go mate http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190710474037?var=490090033873&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

The H badge was the first thing we did, it was a pain and took 4 attempts Took lots of heat to bend round the corners, theyres still a couple of creases on the finished one, not too noticible once fitted

I'm surprised I've not seen you in Stanley mate, I'm up there all the time as my parents still live along East Stanley Your almost the same age as me aswell
-
It's a push to open ashtray, kind of like those ghetto blasters with soft eject Ciggy lighter is behind
-
eBay, I paid £5.25 for quite a large bitI will put a link up when I'm on my PC for you Is really easy to learn with aswell as it's the bubble free stuff
-
I was hoping to find some silver door handles, keeping an eye out for some As well as another back door
-
Will Just be doing the mirror backs
-
I can't remember, It was a snug fit though, theyres no chance of you breaking the socket as it's much tougher
-
Been there mate, I feel your pain:( Have you tried knocking a socket on them? that's how I got mine out
-
Cheers mate, yes I like it so much more, I had the chance of the carbonish trim out of a mg zs on Saturday but turned it down as I'm liking the way I have it now:) everyone who has been in the car commented on how good the red looks The carbon wrap bug has really taken hold, don't want to do too much though
-
Few minor updates, black carbon wrap has been done on the lower parts of trim, ashtray was replaced with a one from a Rover 45 Much better, replaced the bulbs in the heater panel and on the ciggy lighter to avoid having to replace them in the future, as quite fed up of taking the interior to bits now Petrol cap cover and rear number plate trim has had the treatment aswell wing mirror covers are next on the hitlist for the carbon wrap treatment, and possibly the spoiler
-
I'm guessing Consett? It's Always really bad up there, I used to live in Stanley so knew if it was snowing heavy there it would be blizzard conditions in Consett
-
A tenner, that is a bargain Be careful when you bolt it to your car, don't over tighten the bolts as the thread studs can be pretty brittle on those mg spoilers Get some double sided sticky foam tape on there aswell for a good watertight seal - pound land sell it I would give it a go wrapping it:) I plan to do my spoiler in a couple of weeks
-
Looking good I like this generation Accord having had one myself
-
Mine is out of a 45 and yes they're is a slight mismatch of colour from the rover, I used some silicone based interior shine stuff and it's almost a match now
-
Yes it's an awesome spoiler, it's the mg zs highline one I've noticed though they are getting increasingly hard to get at a reasonable price :/
-
Yes it will fit your mb2 2 screws at the back, and under handbrake theyres a cover, under that they are the 2 screws of doom These are usually a nightmare to get out, a ratchet with a Phillips head socket would be your best bet, or bray a socket on and undo them that way Or another alternative would be to get the armrest console from a Rover 45 as these are essentially the same, and Rover had the sense to use 10mm bolts instead of chocolate screws Hope this helps

Yeah I've been looking at them, I'm assuming you mean the high spoiler from the 156:) They're was one on a 156 in my local scrapyard a while back but it was crushed just before I realised you can make it fit to the M:( -

Roylewaa replied to Mr Brown's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
Yeah I was gutted, it was so bad it was literally splitting it half across the front seats Needed a serious amount of welding which I couldn't justify or afford at the time, and it had 160k on an needed engine work (cam variator etc) -

It was an amazing car, it had the supersport kit and wheels on with momo interior Fantastic to drive....but unfortunately as most aging Alfas go, was rotton as a pear underneath and sadly got sent to the auctions where it sold for £75 Here's a pic just before she went, sad really as I just put a full stainless steel powerflow exhaust on:( That was my Mondeo daily driver in front aswell -
