  1. Can't see these melting just pottering to work so I think I'll be okay there. Seem to grip well enough in the wet, I'm not really provoking it at the minute. Certainly better than some tyres I've used in the past anyway! Sounds like you've got a good recipe for over-steer whether you want it or not
  2. Wow this has changed so much in a short space of time! Looks really good now!

    A question

You can use whatever offset you like, but at some point they'll hit the arches and will need work to accommodate the wheels. Bit more detailed info here for you chap: http://civic5.com/forum/page/articles.html/_/articles/wheel-info-still-under-construction-r30
  4. Yeah I knew about the ashtray already! Loads of odd bits of space! Mines got 205/45/17 - Toyo Proxies T1-R all round, fronts have loads of tread, were new in March apparently! Rears are about a year old and still have 6mm on! Bit noisey but grips well!
  5. Yeah I actually don't think I'll do anything to it right now other than the audio bits, it doesn't need anything so I'm not about to upset it!
  6. I did have all sorts of ideas before buying it! But now I've got it I'm just going to appreciate it standard for now and then see what's what as time goes on! Got some bits on their way for the audio so I can bung my DAB headunit in there, see how well the aerial adaptors work instead of a glass mounted aerial! Also got some Focal 13cm speakers coming too, figured I'd treat myself to something a bit better than OEM!
  7. Epic stuff and well done doing it yourself!
  8. They were red to begin with.......honest!
  9. Two Civic's you say, what's the other one you have?
  10. Two suitcases at that! Bought so much stuff I had to get a second one to fit it all in
  11. Could be anything, someone could have stepped out in front of the learner, we just won't know...
  12. I'll do the headunit first then! Thanks everyone!
  13. Nah, I like my current headunit so going to bung it in there! Also getting some new door speakers, thought sod it since my above posts
  14. That's cool, different! Suits the wood trim! Bit of a bugger hiding the spanners from yourself, that'll teach you! Does sound like it's settled! Take measurements and see how much she's dropped? Then at least you can accurately raise her. The front is naturally 10mm lower at the front on OEM, I know you probably don't chuck DD about but might be worth keeping front vs rear height differences the same and just raise her all together? That's my OCD though
