  1. I'm the same and I've got four cameras on the house!
  2. Yep! Don't think there's been any changes to TrinityD this/last month?
  3. Heavy clutch is probably ready to be replaced, if you can get the flywheel skimmed at the same time that would be good practise but not essential, but you may get a "judder" when engaging the clutch after the new one goes in. Are the ones you bought not the Zeta-S then?
  4. According to the website the Zeta-S should fit all the M's, definitely didn't change my LCA's for them anyway. Don't change them for the sake of changing them. How does the clutch feel? Bite point good?
  5. Gloss varnish? What are you painting, wood? You need lacquer to make the smooth shiny finish. There are a few threads debating when is best to apply it.
  6. Oh right, thought you'd got them new specifically for the M? I'm confused
  7. Probably put it down more to the person who installed it. Lack of labelling wouldn't help!
  8. Can't say I was a fan of him/that.
  9. Ah right.....you learn something new everyday!
  10. Yeah I had a mapped Leon FR TDi which kept up with the likes of Jags on motorways and Porsche's in the twisty stuff! Great fun that was! I'm not overly keen on the front end of the CLS, otherwise a nice car!
  11. Why do you need the LCA's? I had mine fitted on the OEM ones and was fine. Any circumstance where it doesn't make the noise?
  12. I didn't enjoy growing up, many ar5eholes and back stabbers around me that I couldn't get away from fast enough.
  13. Pleasure to be among you fine gentlemen! I must say, most kids and generally everything 'young' does seem to p1ss me off
  14. Could be dude! I'll keep it open until Monday morning and start the voting then!
  15. I had a go in a 330d a few years back and didn't take to it! Don't get me wrong it was nice to drive, very quick and smooth but that "something" was just lacking! The 270 is meant to be a cross between quick and economical, 5 cylinder jobby! My old man has the S320, 3.2 straight six diesel, very nice, punchy and about the only auto box I don't get in a rage about, mostly because of the tiptronic doing as I tell it to when the box makes a bad decision! Also there's something about the Merc interiors I prefer over the BMW's, very nice place to sit! I just don't enjoy driving at the minute, the roads are crap, fuel is expensive and I haven't been on a random drive for the sake of it in years! Plus with the walking and cycling and not really using the car during the week it would be nice to have some luxury when I do get in and pot about, I just want a big engine for going quick. Can't say I'm overly bothered about getting around corners at light speed either, I've been there and done that! I like my creature comforts these days, I'm getting too old for my fillings to be rattled out
  16. Luckily I don't seem to have had any problems with car audio centre's work in the past. but these days I just fit myself and save the money! Also never had a problem with the Toad alarm I had on the EK, Ai606 it was, made insurance cheaper which was nice.
  17. Yeah, talk about a booby trapped, camouflaged minefield!
