    If you tax it online, wait until the 1st, then do it, you get 14 days grace anyway and with it going electronic you won't need to display the disc you won't get anyway!

    There's some merit in what the guys are saying. Policing the entries may not be such a big problem, could have a sticky thread with the previous years winners which can be referred to (Most likely by intelligent people, should we find any) so that entrants are legitimate. We already have to make sure cars that have won aren't submitted more than once in the same year which does still occasionally happen anyway so it wouldn't be much extra work.
