  1. Yeah, that's what my brother found when we had our first look under the car! Due June or July so got a bit of time yet!
  2. Yeah smaller side wall so less "roll" from the tyre in the corners! Just harder on the streets when you hit bumps but it's always a compromise between comfort and performance!
  3. Yeah it's pretty sh1tty to be honest! More interested in lining his pockets with "black and white" jobs, it's the same story if there's a level of difficulty in diagnosing, I'll get it sorted either myself or at my expense then he'll turn around and ask why I didn't let him do it..... Appreciated dude! If it isn't sorted or at least diagnosed by the weekend I'll get my mate who has the EF over, he has a decent selection of tools so we can at least get the ball rolling!
  4. Hurrah, paid off to wait afterall!
  5. Nice one on the MOT! Mine needs the same bits as yours that I know about for its upcoming test!
  6. http://www.specialistpaints.com/products/sparkle-pearl-canz Can always send them a message about painting the rocker etc!
  7. That's right, because when you slide it back it tilts down slightly so the glass can hide under the roof skin So when you slide it back forward the upward motion is it moving back to the closed position.
  8. My brother keeps fobbing me off and on Sunday suggested I take it to Honda, so basically I'm taking that as I'm on my own! Trouble is work that I'm at work like everyone else so I can only do anything when I'm at home, which because of working alternate sites means I'm home at different times, this week I'm at the QMC Monday, Wednesday & Friday so by the time I get home those days it's dark, cold and frosty and I can't really be stood outdoors trying to work on the car. Yesterdays bit of daylight I did have when I got home went to sh1t. So tomorrow (Thursday) is my next chance before the weekend. Is the line crimped onto the rail or will it pull off? I did see it but because of the metal thing around the line where it meets the rail immediately threw me off and I daren't do anything incase I 4uck it up! I hate winter conditions, need more daylight!!
  9. This is the third one in a row, talk about making me regret selling my last M!
  10. Wow that's cheap! Are they much different to ours?I don't mind waiting being as I don't have much of a choice, just wish I had an answer to what the problem is.
  11. We'll today proved to be a waste of time and money, the tester I bought is no good as the plugs are too deep so I wouldn't be able to see them, then the car wouldn't start anyway so no hope of taking it for a run or even do the testing anyway...then realised I don't even have the right tools to even remove my plugs to check them! Ugh I feel like I'm between a rock and a hard place! I can't afford to buy anything either!
  12. Me too! Should be good to see some new faces and some new M's! But first, to sort mine out
  13. If you have the service manual downloaded from here, have a look at page 23-C-5, shows two gauge bulbs, one above the speedo and one above the rev counter!
  14. It's amazing how two similar cars or even the same spec cars can feel so different!
  15. This is the only relevant thread I can find, I hope it helps! http://civic5.com/forum/index.php?/topic/3414-the-mamb1-mesh-grill/
  16. I went in the Saab so you weren't the only one without the correct car
  17. Best way for a project like you have planned to have something you can use so that if it takes time or goes pair shaped you're not stuck like I am! Luckily I almost don't miss the car for getting to and from work, but I am missing it the little bit I was using it for!
  18. You'll find one chap, just keep an eye out! I know the feeling of not being able to get much done! Annoying when the only time you get in the week it's dark and cold!
  19. The new tank looks good! Hopefully won't be too long before you have it fitted!
  20. Lately I've been seeing Skunk2 ones advertised as fitting C1/C4, could be that they've finally started to sell them with the correct port sizes?!
