    As far as I'm aware my stereo will stay powered as long as they is in the ignition, never known it to work any other way, cool quirk you have!

    Didn't achieve anything, couldn't get her to fire before the battery started to lose charge, neither of my parents cars were about either so I will try again tomorrow with jump leads to boost my battery!

    I'll keep that in mind should I need to go looking for some, recon is still better than raw second hand units! Yeah going to try when I get home, need to nip and get some redex on my travels though so if I can get her to drive the short journey then she'll be warmed up ready for the testing! Then I'll bung the cleaners in afterwards regardless!

    I recall my dad haggling with the insurance about a Mondeo that was being written off, made £200 on the purchase price in the end and had a year of motoring out of it!
