You and me both! I'm up for the 5 mile walk to QMC, just not through the more shady areas I'd have to walk through to get there! Walked into work this morning anyway as I'm at City rest of the week now, joys of covering leave! Accord is still where I left her on Sunday night, got another "I was too busy" text off my brother, tempted to tell him to book it in properly just so it gets done as he's taking the p1ss now! Cheap isn't always cheerful!

That's random as 4uck!

Compression test would tell you if it's the piston rings. Bit of info here to read http://www.carsdirect.com/car-repair/symptoms-of-fried-piston-rings
-
My money is on stem seals, it's common on these plus with it only smoking when you hit VTEC points to that for me.
-
I would have thought with rings it would be smoking all the time?

I'm on my legs at the moment while I'm at City, but for my QMC days I get a lift to the City hospital off my dad and bus w4nker over to the QMC. I would walk but with the lack of sleep from the heat, I don't fancy setting off at 6am for work that's only 5 miles away Not done anything towards two wheels yet, need to either get my ancient bike sorted out or buy a new one which I think would be the more sensible option!
-
Probably stem seals as Simpo says.
-
Yeah I'm hoping it gets done today! It's like losing an arm being without her! Plus it's making getting to and from work a nightmare but that's the way it is!

Jesus! Mine was £900 the first year I was driving Goes to show how times have changed! Best thing for it

Reminds me when I was sat on the bumper of a nearly new Porsche Boxster in my EK4 Awesome upsetting people with more money than sense!

Looks good! Parcel shelf looks very similar to mine except its not sagging

Sounds well organised! Get those babys ordered lads!

Bargain lads, you won't be disappointed! Had experienced these in a Civic EF, epic comfort to say it was on the floor! Nick, I think your misses will be happy enough with the right settings!

Wow, how to ruin a CRX! I'd buy it to restore/save her if I could!
-
Wow, that's a months worth for the "Shed of the week" thread

Good news on the sale!

1.8 Aerodeck from Finland (10 years of ownership)
Krzys replied to Dexter's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
What you're describing is axle tramp! Unfortunately I'm not aware of much in the way of a cure! Every VTEC Honda I've owned has done it though! So I'm not sure it's related to any particular suspension set up!- 883 replies

Yeah, first time will always be the worst/most time consuming, then keeping on top of it won't need as much! Get some photo's up Paul, be interesting to see the state of the clay!- 3,767 replies

If you get a decent 4 channel amp you can run the fronts too, can fool folk into thinking you have a small sub if it's done right!

Towed her up to my brothers gaff yesterday evening, hopefully he'll be able to get it fitted today, but he has warned me that it's expected to be busy today and this is getting done as a side job to save me some pennies so it might not get done until tomorrow...hey ho!

Should do! The Accord had 6x9's when we got hold of it but eventually the weight of them caused the parcel shelf to bow and eventually collapse
