I'm only 20 mate, been on the road with my MB3 for 2 years now and my insurance is still 1500 quid a year! When I was your age I had a Mazda 323 GTi and my insurance was just over £550. How times change. (Now I feel like an old man) My first insurance policy when I was 18 was on a 1.4 Nissan Almera with some nice 17" alloys, lowering springs, Cat-Back SS exhaust and one hell of a sound system (discreet though!), all declared cost me £900 to insure Just had a renewal for £730, WTF!?

Looks as though Hamilton has made the right choice so far!! Happy as larry for Raikkonen though! He's bloody good and finally got himself a win after rough come back last year!

I know what you mean! You are immediately branded by the car you drive! since buying the Saab I've been asked if I'm 50, where my flat cap and pipe are (glove box of course!), how my "Vectra" is! The list goes on!

I feel like a proper awkward git! As much as I like the Saab, it's great to look at and really comfy and all that but it's so not a town car!! Plus I keep hankering for a country road blast where the 9-5 shows off it's weight and size! Family car trying to be sporty. Then there's the power.......oh how I love the power but she's a handful in the dry, it's nearly always wet at the minute, always keeping on my toes and always argueing with the TC! As I said, lovely car, just not getting "the fizz" as James May puts it! I'd love another EK4 or an EK9 if I could sort the funds, but not as a daily, as a weekend/project car! But I have no where to store/work on one! So I'd have to sort a new daily and then sort out a garage/unit to keep a second car and then go buy one! I don't want much......honest! If I go for that plan it would have to wait till around the end of the year to allow me to get my Le Mans trip out of the way, sort out my finances and then go shopping...the best kind of shopping is for cars! I worry that I'm addicted to car shopping to be honest
