NIKH25
Standard cat, sports cat or decat?
Dexter
Standard cat, sports cat or decat? Sports cat. I'll have to ask how much they'll charge for a de-cat as well. How much difference do you think it'll make, powerwise?
Grant
Doubt there would be a lot in it power wise. 5-6 bhp maybe chaps? But itll make her more responsive and louder! Also sports cat will be considerably more expensive !
onejdmcivic1984
Bloody nice aerodeck! Hate ppl who damage a car just cos someone has put a lot of love and attention into it! Speedometer dials look awesome and certainly makes them look more modern!
snakey135
Exhaust sounds exciting!! Decat puts a grin from ear to ear when i give it some... Can be a bit much cruising in 5th though if your on a long dual carriageway or motorway but id rather that and keep the intense VTEC roar when i floor it... Especially through tunnels, gets me a bit too excited!! Haha
Krzys
and a new cat... and a custom 2,25" stainless pipe... and a magnaflow backbox. I've spent the last week e-mailing a couple of companies and have finally settled on one (the most expensive ) to build the exhaust and install the beforementioned combo. This will hopefully happen within the next month, permitting i pass my MOT first. The horn hasn't been working for a while so will have to start with that. Also the 1st of March signals the start of summertire season, but i think i'll stick to my winters for a few more weeks in case of a "backwinter" which always comes... even though i can barely wait to get my Volks back on!What size manifold will you be getting? All sounds good though!
Dexter
Doubt there would be a lot in it power wise. 5-6 bhp maybe chaps? But itll make her more responsive and louder! Also sports cat will be considerably more expensive ! I think 5-6 bhp is quite a lot for a single mod! But i have already bought a sports cat, so maybe i'll get the de-cat too just in case to try out some day. Can't be too expensive i reckon. The mani is a Tegiwa 4-2-1 with a 2,5" collector (Toda-copy): http://www.tegiwaimports.com/tegiwa-4-2-1-exhaust-manifold-header-honda-b-series-426/ Even if the power gains won't be as big as promised, it's still a lot lighter. And looks a lot better!
