NIKH25
Now after 3 days/evenings of polishing, i have to tell you that "not a lot of work" can sure take a long time! 2 finished, 2 to go. Funny how things work out that way.
Dexter
Start! Finish! Some before and after shots: I put them on yesterday, lifted the front 15mm to winter height and took her for a wash. When i rolled out, it was snowing. Talk about proper timing! Or more specifically in this case, in the nick of time . Was too dark for photos, will take some later. But they do look quite nice... new rims are always new rims, even when they're used! Maybe the best and most satisfying mod car for any car, any time .

jamestopdog
Nice work Dexter, definitely the best/biggest mod I would say, and lowering 2nd. Pretty much anything low on a nice set of rims looks good

vtec2011
Looking good, top work! I don't think I have the time or patience to refurbish wheels...
Dexter
Thanks, it sure took a lot more effort than i thought... and fingernails! And i did a lot of things the hard way, trying to figure out the correct sandpaper/drill bit to use at each point and learning the best techniques for tricky spots. But i guess you just gotta pay your dues. It didn't help that at times the temperature dropped below zero! Next time i'm refurbing wheels, i'll make sure it's summer .
