Krzys
Every time I see a retrim thread I cringe as they are usually hideous garish affairs. But this one is something else. Very nice indeed, it looks like a factory option as it fits in so well with the rest of the car. Thanks mate, yeah she got the designers at transcal in on the act to get their opinions, and they reckoned the ink blue was best. Just did a 450 mile trip in the deck yesterday and was comfy as anything! Did say to Dawn that I did find the interior a bit distracting whilst driving though...........Couldnt stop looking nat the seats.......the door cards...lmao I'd paint my car blue just to have that interior! lmao! thats class! Thanks for the comments chaps! I'm so bloody jealous of Dawns interior! lol I want too!!!!! That design would look ace but with dark red to match our cars colour! Wonder what my old man would say if I were to dump Becca there for a week?
Dave
lmao! try it and see! I've been thinking the same thing (no, not dumping Dawn for a week lol), same but in red. Would look pretty amazing me thinks!
Krzys
I'd just hope Dawn wouldn't be offended if I stole the design but changed the colours to suite Becca's colour! Now I just need to rob a bank.....hang on, they're all empty.....errmm best start loan sharking then!
KiNK43
oh my that interior is very special. they are amazing seats to be fair and well worth retrimming as the standard trim is a little... errm... poo!?these look amazing!
Guest
1 word Mental!surely the cars not worth that sort of money is it?
Dave
It is to Dawn mate, as she said she'll never sell it. She loves the car to bits, has had it around 7 or 8 years now and still loves it as much as the day she bought it! To be honest, if she sold it, there isnt really anything she could get for the money that she would like as much, so might aswell spend the money on it instead. The deck is so mint even underneath it's well worth holding onto, so makes sense to do everything she ever wanted to do to it. Feels so nice inside it now, nice place to be on long journeys
Krzys
As above, a car is only worth what the owner thinks it's worth, in Dawn's case, it's worth putting in the lovely leather! To anyone Tom, Dick or Harry my Civic won't even be worth putting aftermarket wheels on, if you saw the list and potential costs of mods I want to do to mine you'd go mental and probably have me put in a padded cell! dr_broon
yeah - had someone telling me at the weekend saying that it's lost money blah blah blah, but only if you plan to get rid of the car soon
Krzys
yeah - had someone telling me at the weekend saying that it's lost money blah blah blah, but only if you plan to get rid of the car soon Yeah, I remember seeing on the Type R owners forum, someone was selling a DC5 and during the weeks it was on for sale it turned more into a project thread, new wheels, carbon bonnet, rear spoiler etc etc and kept bumping the price up! Don't spend if you don't like/enjoy or plan to sell your car, otherwise the sky is your limit!
