Great sentiment Mr B. couldn't agree more. Couldn't vote for anything other than Dave's phenomenal build, just so much put into it it has to be car of the year if not decade.3 points

There evo seats man, they are very comfy. Ideally if you can find the rails for them but if not I just welded them to the original rails, seems to work fine. But I'm sure you can make something up that works good. I cancelled the insurance on the lude. I'm not messing around with it. Just going to scrap it or sell it for parts. My lil bro will be selling his mb6 in February so I'm gonna buy that off him. And he's got a s80 LSD box on that. Gonna stick with the mb6s, one for me and one for my mrs3 points

Tyres are rated Thus BRIDGESTONE RE050A 205 / 40 R17 80Y EU Tyre labels explained: This is for fuel economy which i usually ignore as the difference is not massive enough to notice in your pocketThis is the braking in the wet ratingThis is the road noise the tyre makes i believe they are rated from A (being best) to G (being worst)3 points

ohhh i forgot dawns deck was in this as well, this has made it very very hard for me to vote i can not vote for my fav M because dawns deck is in this and i can not vote for dawns deck as if im honest i love daves car more This was my decision.. i have placed my vote but not for either of the above.. I leave you with this though.. Dave your awsome build has to be coty in anybodys eyes as the work and determination you have put into this epic build is second to none, your my coty whatever happens.. Dawn although your car is not my top choice for coty the brief time that i had on this site with you was awsome and you and your stunning deck will always be sooooo special to me R.I.P Dawn..Never forgotten..3 points

As i'm honored this year to be in the Car of the Year vote, i thought i'd sum up all the mods i've done and what this deck is all about. You can see my current winter look from the post above, here are a few pics of how she looks like when it's a bit warmer: r: More photos on page 5. Some GoPro track video from last summer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NY7qKdVAFSY And some older incar-footage from 2011: This is what i said back in 2009 in my first post here in Civic5: "It wasn't in the best possible condition when i got it and still needs lots of work, but slowly and surely it's starting to turn into what i hope one day will be the lowest, fastest and baddest Aerodeck in Finland." Now over 4 years later "slowly and surely" still apply , but it's come quite a way. My philosphy has been to upgrade parts instead of just replacing them, with the goal of eventually improving the car all round. I guess i want the best of all worlds so a bit of stance, a bit of race and a bit of ICE has been my recipe. Here's the current spec/mod list: Engine bay and transmission B18C4 TSS tuning intake kit Optima Yellowtop battery NGK iridium spark plugs Exedy Stage 1 clutch ITR flywheel and ARP bolts Suspension H&R coiloverkit TSS tuning (Blox) front camber kit Powerflex bushes (front) Brakes Stock pads and calipers (painted red) DOT 5.1 brake fluid Wheels and tires Summer: 17 x 7.5 / 17 x 8.5 Volk Evo 3's with 195/40 Falken ZE912 Track: 15 x 6.5 League 273's with 195/50 Toyo Proxes R888 Winter: 15 x 7 Rials with 195/55 Continental ContiVikingContact 3 studless winter tires Exterior Full VTI-S lip kit Fully de-badged De-chromed headlights Osram Nightbreaker bulbs Headlight washer delete Custom mesh grille Tinted windows Clear repeaters Short antenna Aero wipers White license plate screw caps Interior Handmade black floor mats with red lining Moman plasma dials (with realistic top speed!) Tenzo-R shift knob Mugen-style pedals Custom steel foot rest cover Painted red h-emblem on steering wheel Aerodeck-badge on front passenger side Audio Pioneer DEH-3200UB head unit Front: JBL680C speakers, tweeters and crossovers + Silent Coat inside the doors Rear: Pioneer TS-G1312i coaxial speakers There's still plenty more to come, i'm definitely planning on keeping this one. Needless to say Civic5 has been an invaluable site for support on this build so thanks to everyone who's helped or commented along the way. Don't forget to check out all the other COTY-nominees here and may the best M-civic win!2 points

Right so I discovered I've a well beaten up pair of these Ring Luminator spotlights on the car so went out and bought a new set. Anyways, I've been told about these fogs in the pic below and wondered if they were a straight fit, or will things need modified? http://www.racerbits.com/servlet/Detail?no=317 They def appeal more being a bit more OEM looking. It'll be a couple of days before I can get to look closer at the car to check what fixings were left from the original fogs so thought I'd be lazy and check here first Edited to make things clearer1 point

I have just taken her out for another spin and I gotta say it goes like STINK! I have noticed since I removed the cat, it's a bit slow picking up from stand still but once it gets to about 3-4000rpm, she's away Finally got the photos up! Not brilliant quality photos though... This piece of sh*t...... Is out..... aaaand the not so sh*t manifold is in! This will do for now until I get a 4-2-1 manifold1 point

Maybe... I have already planned to get a center exhaust custom made but I don't know any exhaust places in Cornwall! It should bolt straight on though as most D-series parts are interchangeable1 point
