We don't use words like that anymore chap and you really shouldn't keep them under your bonnet, that's just not nice. Tin of gloss black paint goes a long way, I've done my wiper arms and some under bonnet brackets and there's loads left, I need to find something else to paint.4 points

NOTE: All M's are Epic its just that some M's are more Epic than others..... LOL i think i should steer clear of the blowing her idea as our little (wee ) Engine may not be able to take that much oomf, natural aspiration for me with this un'3 points

Thing is the engine dress up stuff doesn't actually cost a lot, unless you want to buy fancy dress up items like Mugen caps etc, it's just bloody time consuming!!!2 points

Mine has got 119k on a w reg and I paid 750 for it and part exed my 200 quid scrapper Peugeot estate on it. I got a few other bits in with it. Authentically mines got no rust but it's full of dents and scratches but we'll looked after maintenance wise so it's swings and roundabouts as to weather you get one with good servicing or good body. If you find one that's got both being well looked after then be prepared to pay a bit more than what most people get theirs for. I was looking for a while and all I saw was the d series autos on the trader or ones that were 200 odd miles way. My opinion is go for it but tell him it's gonna cost you to tax it in a week so if he'll take 1050 and half a tank he'd be stupid to say no really The sense of achievement you will get for fixing the wheels (quick lick of paint) and fixing the minor rust (another easy fix looking at how little it is) will instantly make you think it's worth a lot more1 point

I used the 25mm2 neutral cables out of old consumer units. There all blue and free which was nice. Didn't seem to make any difference obviously but old ones looked poo1 point

Love the new can mate. Really suits not over the top!! Looks like your power flow is better than ours. We started calling the place Mr noodle because all the piping looks like a noodle when there done. But yours looks very neat and tidy!1 point

Should be able to donate on the right hand side of the board index? I've been here long enough to move away from a Civic and then come back to one, so I know what you mean! A really great community here!1 point

True mate. If you were to spray ask of the rusty looking brackets in there that alone would make a big difference. I haven't spent that much on it. Most expensive item is the manifold and then the strut brace. The rest of the stuff has cost me around £251 point

That's very sensible of you Tom but I don't think £5 on a spray can would break your bank1 point

Nicely described, you need to take the ECU backup fuse out as well though. Not much more for a genuine Honda one from John Banks on here.1 point

Which, taking her on track or leaving her with Krzys. Only one of those options will work for sure.1 point

Fair play to you for keeping positive mate, it's not been easy. Hopefully it resolves the issues and you can begin to enjoy it. It's hard to keep motivated when things don't go right but keep at it as it can only improve the car.1 point

That's the spirit. U gotta b in it to win it. And u never know. Ur car is tidy1 point

I love the scrappy! It's actually 2 separate scrapyards but it's all in one area, so it's quite a big area! As soon as I know whats going on with this insurance inspection, I will be on a hunt for MGZS or VTi-S side skirts and a rear ARB1 point
