Just fitted a new heater resistor pack. And I cannot believe I waited 3 years to do it! 5 minute job. £7.50 for the pack from eBay. Now I don't have to have the fan blasting everywhere I go.
Not been here a while but just saw mikefotos car on facebook so made the effort and came back and voted. That car is incredible, best non vti/vtis ever. Why wouldnt you vote for this?!!!
... Yeah got about 1/4 of the thread left so going to set them to their highest n go from there... The front forks are from a civic coupe and are about 15mm shorter too so i can put my ones back on if need be too Think the rears are pretty spot on though
yeah i got a camera good for if you have blacked out windows i also have a reverse sensor to.... as in a big tow hook hanging out the back and believe me it works well with high curbs
I have some zender rims that have a nice lip on them. Its an older style rim that they stopped making. It almost like a 5 star design. They are the same wheels as these:
I was speaking to a couple of mates who are heavily into Honda's and they reckon even a "basic" turbo set up will see up to 250bhp on stock internals! I keep thinking of doing one myself in the future, I'd be happy with 230-240bhp really! Be enough to have fun but not ruin it as a daily I think!
If done properly you can get a fairly astonishing amount of power from a b18 turbo setup, before it goes in the car would be a perfect excuse to do the internals
I'm kinda cheating tho by having the bits already lol yeah thanks for that pic! I haven't done anything about the abs light, it just went off lol must have been a dirty sensor or something. Just need to get this exhaust sorted and get the hubs removed and prepped for this.
Again, they do look ace! I hate bleeding brakes but I got a tool for that. It's a self bleeding system which sucks air out of the brake lines. No need to pump the pedal. Need an compressor though...
Brakes look fantastic dude, really nice setup, you really need an assistant to help with the bleeding, sounds like you're building up too much pressure.
Great info. Think it may be common knowledge now but Vauxhall astra speaker baskets from halfrauds or wherever fit if you want deeper after market speakers. Just need to drill one extra hole to screw into.
