  1. I see what you mean, that is quite loud, cracks along rather nicely though eh. Glad you've finally got the leak sorted.
  2. Cheers bud, it's quite a lot of work but the sense of achievement is great, really looking forward to getting them on next week.
  3. After that they were rubbed down again with 1200 wet & dry and sprayed with high build white primer. All white in the sun! Then rubbed down again with 2000 grit and sprayed with 3 coats of silver. And finally 3 coats of lacquer and this is what they look like today. I have to say I'm pretty chuffed with how they've turned out considering this is the first time I've attempted a job as big as this. And it didn't all go to plan, on Thursday when I went to move the first wheel over for the 1st coat of lacquer the wheel next to it fell over face first, once I'd finished swearing it was back out with the wet and dry, filler and silver paint.
  4. So I started by grinding off the worst bits and rubbing back all the rest until I had a good base to work with. Then they were filled and rubbed down again in increasing stages of wet & dry. Hosed down and left to dry out in the garden. After that they were wiped down and sprayed with filler primer. I told my mate when he came round to help with the paint correction the other week that this was the colour I was going with. His face was a picture.
  5. Right, this has taken me some time but my wheels are finally finished. How they started. As you can see they were pretty scruffy and had loads of kerb rash. That's how I bought them by the way, not my doing.
  6. Honda civic vti seems to work quite well on ebay, then narrow it down from there. DC2 you need to be careful as 98 on are 5 stud. http://www.mtecbrakes.co.uk/
  7. They should afaik, it says put in your reg no. so they can check compatability so you could email them first.
  8. And again, don't go for drilled. And try MTEC's own site, they have some good deals.

It's just wrong, especially as the MB came first!
  10. Yep, click 'edit' then click 'use full editor' and you can do it from there.
  11. F*cking hell, sounds a wee demon.
  12. I beg to differ. If you want lows and want to stay reasonably comfy, that's what they cost. To me it's well worth it.
  13. That's something at least but I know how much you want the wheels, must be very frustrating.
