  1. Oh that's a shame... you would think the seller would of wrapped it in bubble wrap or something.
  2. I am picking it up this Saturday! It's a 600 mile trip there and back but atleast I can have a good drive with it on the way back! The only thing that concerns me is what's it like underneath? Like rust... We'll see
  3. I couldn't take driving that wreck any longer! So I saw a mini-me version of Grant's Deck and thought... I MUST HAVE IT! I have to travel all the way from Cornwall to Leiceshire to pick it up but I always like a good road trip
  4. Thanks for your help lads but I have already arranged to pick up car this weekend! It is a Black Aerodeck 1.5 or £350! :D I am super excited!!! Taxed and MOT'd, has got 170'000 miles on the clock but I obviously got another engine if this ones knackered... despite that, I am over the moon!
  5. Some very nice touches there. The last photo is epc!!
  6. That is awesome! I am defiantly doing this to my old car seat! It would be a waste to just throw them away. And its also an good excuse to keep one part of my car
  7. I only had it for 2 days now and I already hate the thing... It's so plain it only has a speedo and fuel gauge, f*ck all else. It doesn't unlock from the drivers door so I have to unlock it from the passenger door. You have to keep the pedal to the floor to keep it at 60mph (think the throttle cable needs adjusting) and considering it's only a 1.3 engine in a light car, I am only getting 80 miles from £20. Today's standards, that is f*cking terrible! I looked it up on the internet and on average they only do 30-35mpg! There is no way I will be keeping this pile of sh*t for long... BUT I do appreciate my boss giving the car to me and helping me out
  8. I love these D16Z6 engines. I got loads of D16Z6 engine parts and the plan was to fit it to my Civic... So you're not going for a full engine rebuild? New piston rings, valve stem seals and all the rest of it?
  9. I am already doing reverse donuts, driving reverse at full pelt. I like driving reverse in the Fezzy as I wouldn't dare do it in my Civic. I really cannot see the Fezzy will last that long...
  10. The badges look cool! They will confuse people until they see a intercooler peeking through the bottom of the bumper
  11. Looks really nice. The grill makes it look very different from all of our M's
  12. That's the only bit I am really worried about, is the insurance. But then I should be getting proper wage in the next few weeks!!
  13. I won't be spending much on it, the costly bit is paint. I got a 4 inch back-box with no baffles so I'll bolt that on. Whack on a set of oldskool XR2 alloys which been sat in the shed for years. Shouldn't look too bad
  14. @Krzys is that when you had a 9-5 then?
  15. Thanks Nick I am really gutted I couldn't be there. I was really hyped for Fest (maybe that's why I crashed ) I wished I was there to admire everyone's M's and talk face to face with members for a change. I think only met @Mr Brown & @Krzys last year at Japfest.
  16. I thought I post a thread about my new part time car to keep myself occupied It is a 2001 Ford Fiesta 1.3 Endura (1300 Kent Pre-Crossflow engine) producing a whopping 59bhp... It's gutless of course, very rusty on the rear arches and pretty rotted underneath being a typical Ford. It's only done 68'000 miles! Just had new MOT with 2 pages of advisories on RUST, just had brand new tyres fitted all round and a full service. I will be driving this around until I get myself a MC2 Aerodeck but that won't be till the end of this year or beginning of next year. Between these months, I feel I must do something to the Fezzy. Matte black it and put a load of Monster and Ken Block stickers on it I cannot see how this car would be sold again due to amount of rust and amount of welding already been done to it so I might aswell have a bit of fun with it!
  17. That is ridiculously low now Got a nice deep exhaust note
  18. Wow, she looks amazingly clean! I really wish I seen this in the flesh
