  1. Jesus, "only" £25,000 deposit, you both must be minted, I'll do well to get £10k together or even a mortage large enough to let me buy a £100k house!
  2. Yes, because they will be shorter than what comes off the M.Look at @Dexter's thread, ask @Grant who have/had EK suspensions.
  3. Try https://www.paints4u.com, might be cheaper. £200k!? Christ I'd never be able to borrow that much!
  4. I've had Koni adjustables which were a uprated spring and damper setup, was okay for the money! Just so you know, because it hasn't already been said a million times, EK suspension will be low, so I hope that won't be a problem where you are!
  5. I've never been massively impressed with any aftermarket lugs, they just don't seem to be up to the job!
  6. If it takes three years to save £200, then clearly you can ill afford to fund your hobby, not fun, I've been there before. Which is a shame really.
  7. If you want to be like that then see you later...
  8. And the thread I've just spotted in general chat, this will take a while...
  9. Mate, this isn't really appropriate for the forum. It wasn't a great idea to put up half a story to draw attention to it, fair enough the car has been vandalised but to then go on and say it was someone one here is derogatory and that person can actually accuse you of slander because this is essentially public domain. If there's a member causing a problem, PM me or one of the team and we can sort it quietly, but don't post attention seeking stories, we're not Facebook! @Dave, just so you are aware mate!
  10. It might be best taking the car to a place that does track prep to get their opinion on it? Probably going to worth more than I can type out on here
  11. Sounds like it was just needing some lube then! Good stuff!
  12. A local auto lock smith in Nottingham (http://www.3dgroupuk.com/) did manage to copy my black key and have it start the car. But unless there's somewhere like that where you are I'm afraid it's a case of a dry session from Honda unless there's a scrap vehicle with the red key available, transponder box, ignition barrel and locks. Fobs are just paired with the IR receiver where the interior light is. But some members have just fitted a HAWK central locking kit to replace the fob. Info about that here: http://civic5.com/forum/topic/9002-hawk-universal-central-locking-kit-how-to/
  13. Thanks for the update Ryan! Sorry to hear of the brake woes! I've been there myself!
  14. Normally I'd agree, but when you've experienced them for yourself you'll think differently! Completely different "animal".

    Glad it's all sorted!
  16. Plus the mentality of buying something cheap now because you can afford it plays into the "Go cheap, go twice" saying. Why do the job twice because you can't wait to save up to do it properly?
  17. Creature comforts are great!
