This is pretty much what I was going to say. Then at least you know all the maintenance is dealt with. Would be a shame to lose money on it like that.

Very interesting stuff indeed!
-
Good luck with those seats Alex Wheels look good @Kurupt mb3!
-
That's true, I've had subs facing the same way in the back before. Plus if she enjoys having the sub under the seat, bonus!
-
Brilliant summary there @DeLaSoul!

Coolant leaking plus temperature going up and down

Wuss, I've been doing that the last two years in all weathers I would agree with Grant, sounds like an airlock forcing water back into the expansion tank. When it's warm, does the heater get hot in the car? Also worth checking the radiator pipes near the the dizzy, both should be warm. But as it's been done at a garage, make them sort it! -
Yeah the initial outlay for mapping is a fair bit, but probably worth it from what I've read too, even completely standard it seems recommended.
-
Really bright, good improvement over the candle that was there!
-
Nice work on the aircon removal so far Grant! I've thought about those too, just concerned about it vibrating under the seat and how it would sound being biased to one side of the car instead of centred.

Nice and clean until you next drive it, perils of a white car this time of year -
Check the plugs and leads first chap, but to me the points to ignition. Lambda usually throws a light, but not always because it's nice like that Check the basics bits first and see what you find.

Does look like fun but can see how difficult the conditions were too! Brilliant experience day by the look of it, would like to do the same sometime!

Nice one Grant, the boot tray is the right way round now too!
-
Yeah the green clip holds the linkage to the handle, you can hook it into the handle without the clip but you might need to bend it a little to stop it lifting itself out. Otherwise you'll need a new clip from Honda or second hand from a scrap car.

Very nice!

Excellent summary!
-
And it might remove the residue!

As standard the front is 10mm lower, if you level it out you'll actually upset the handling. You should aim to lower the car equally on all four corners. Why does everyone want to lower their cars for £100 this week? Go cheap, go twice!
-
Ouch, that's a long time to save mate! Kudos to you both! It must be a decent sized house you're after or is it just really expensive where you are?
