  1. Least the indicator is on the correct side so you could change gear as well! Bummer about the pipe! Chuck the prelude motor in the Accord!
  2. Convince? Man up and just take it off her!
  3. Front disc after a few miles, pedal still soft but the brakes are getting stronger, my brother says we will bleed them again anyway to be sure as with some pressure I can press the pedal to the floor.
  4. Yeah that might be a problem, it'll be the same for any kind of finance though.
  5. They certainly are! Proper goodies!
  6. They took it quite well, chucked three blokes at them and got it sorted. They weren't d1cks or anything, just kept saying it would be tomorrow day after day rather than just telling me straight. I wouldn't have minded if I was just told it was going to be a while longer or whatever. At the start they said they were playing catch up on their workload so I was understanding at first.
  7. http://www.brake-caliper-painting.com/ Based in Long Eaton mate.
  8. Should have been £200 for all four, ended up getting £100 refund because of the hassle and time! Couldn't replace all four for that I know that much, believe me I checked...
  9. I didn't make the same mistake twice that's for sure! Was in the EK way back when!
  10. That really depends how you're fixed for time and what you need doing, yes they've done the job and I'm really happy with how they've turned out but it was a nightmare to get this far! http://www.brake-caliper-painting.com/ - For anyone interested.
  11. Just over two weeks in the end! Finished with them promising me a date to fetch them, when I got there they'd forgotten I was coming so I refused to leave without them, left nearly half an hour after they were meant to close! With the calipers at least.
  12. Having done some reading I think the spongy pedal is down to the Brembo pads being soft and should firm up as they bed in as my brother and Kyfer also mentioned. Will use the car for this evenings outing as we're off into the sticks so should be able to do some planned braking to help get them mated! Will look at the handbrake side tomorrow evening before I go to the pub! All being well I can spend Saturday cleaning it all as the car has been housing a few spiders on door handles etc whilst she's been stood
  13. I don't think any of us would want to be spending more money that we have to on fixing problems mate. My brakes are a prime example, I didn't want to be doing anything with them but I've had to sort them out and decided I might as well do the lot so I'm not revisiting it in a years time or whatever.
  14. @KiNK43 should know the answer to this. Are these helper springs something that came with your suspension kit then? Never heard of them myself.
  15. Yep! Had plans to clean it all before the wheels went back on but with my brother's time constraints for bleeding the brakes and me now needing the car more than wanting it meant I've had to skip or risk being without the car another couple of weeks! Well that's probably an exaggeration but you get the idea. Neither of my brothers are around for the next two weeks at least!
  16. It began as too much speed and the back end went anyway, after fish tailing a couple of times she had dropped down the revs and wasn't going to pull free of the swaying so decided to attempt to go for 2nd gear to power out but as soon as I touched the clutch that was it! Was a lesson learnt and luckily for me not the hard way!
  17. I'd have been embarrassed if I had filmed my session at Silverstone, I ended up off the track facing the wrong way after my bout with lift-off over steer
