Ok, mk2 attempt with projectors underway, I’ve pinched the reflectors out of another set and just put that set on the car for now (not working) so I can put the new reflectors in my current projector headlamps.. this time I’ve done more research on attaching them and have taken more care... photos once complete!!

Gauges look kool mate!

@Blackwolf projectors are no issue for MOT, as long as it has standard bulbs and beam image/intensity is good... HID kits are the issue... but I MOT’d a vehicle the other day and it seems even the criteria for failing a car for after market HID’s has been removed as an option to fail...

Wicked update!! A lot of people giving you hurdles to jump here but kudos for cracking on and getting where you want it to be... nice work on the increased herspers too!

Cheers guys, shouldn’t have let it get so bad to be honest but it’s come up nice... it just reminds me of how much bodywork it needed though! Lol! lucky my headlight bust after the MOT though to be fair... I guess it’s back to the everyday maintenance that I’ve missed for 4 years!

Ready for the road now guys!! headlights in, one wired up and the other to wire up before work tomorrow ready for the mot! Annoyingly the ABS light has come on as soon as I drove it today... I believe from the disc and pad change last year as it hasn’t driven since then! Hope I just need to go underneath and maybe just reconnect a plug! anyways, the resurrection in photos...

THE TIME IS NEAR CIVIC5 ADDICTS! Insurance in place for the 8th, just need to put the refurbed headlights in and put a bit of water in the system (due to a slight seepage whilst it’s been sitting) and then get it to work Thursday to get its MOT!! Excited isn’t the word!!

Projectors look good mate, look the same as mine but chrome!! How did you go about fixing them and what bulbs do they take... mine only seem to take H1’s right now but apparently they can be adjusted to take H4’s or H7’s... have you got a photo of the back of your projector units before you fitted them at all?

Ok I have taken a few pictures but like I said, hard to see exactly but it’s the best I can offer lol. next two two photos hopefully show how I mounted the projector, it’s from behind the reflector which you can hardly see but you should be able to see where the mastic is... last ine one is just of the piece that I cut out of the reflector... hope me this is of any help... i am also intrigued on what your projectors look like and how you’re planning on mounting them too, have you got any photos to share??

I’ve mounted the second one in now so will be difficult to get a good photo of the back of the projectors but I’ll get one tomorrow when I’m at work... literally, on the back of the reflector I basically cut out where the circle is... and stuck a thumb nail size blob of strong windscreen mastic onto the reverse of the projector base at the 4 corners... I lined up my headlight to the beam setter then put the projector in with a fastening spring on the reverse to keep it held it whilst it set... I was then able the hook it up to a battery then manouvered the projector slightly until the beam was there or there abouts on the setter... I’ll attach some photos tomorrow to help explain
