Nice one man. That's better than breaking. I seen it in flesh it's a gudden
-
I think that's a good result hey. They Could have bummed you into next week over it. 50 quid is fair.
-
That is a real shame

I think sometimes depends what sort of life the cars had. My mates not long bought a 2001 bug eye subaru with crazy miles. Yet it probably the tightest subaru I have ever driven!

What ya doing with it? -
No they OK tootling about n what not. Just slightest Jab at the pokey pedal and they spin up
-
Yup bit down about it. Try so hard with em then come out one tunnel into another.
-
I couldn't agree more. But still I expect it to last longer than 6 months. I can quote the guy who painted it "there so much lacquer on there, that paint will never come off!" I used him before and it was a good job. He did my prelude as well. So I just hope he's gonna be helpful.
-
Its one whole side and a bootlid. I'm stressed. Seriously will consider selling it after the summer. Doing my head in tbh.
-
Yes you would hope so. I'll have to go see the guy who painted it. I can already here his excuses tbh. I done some research tonight apparently it's common cars painted in warm weather only show this defect when it turn cold. Moisture on the panel when painted. Then it bubbles up all over the shop
-
It was resprayed 6 months ago
-
More issues with this fooking car.. Paint has blistered on bootlid, os rear quarter and os front wing. Man when will the torture end. Rapidly becoming a money pit despite being mechanically awesome.
-
I got toyo t1r 50s there alright. Much less squashy than 55s. I'm a fan of these tyres but people seem to have mixed views on them.. But they are lethal in the wet. But seem very good in the dry 196 quid fitted for 4 locally. Not too bad I thought

Nice one man well done. Bet the s2k was awesome
-
Nope it's bad. Just had to stop and get put. Had to switch engine off to unlock door. As even the manual one inside doesn't work once it's locked
-
Not sure about it myself yet. Good and bad points to it I guess
-
Nope just bog standard. Only thing I didn't realise it would do which is cool is that anti hijack thing. Locks doors when you pull off then unlocks when ignition off
-
Gonna be superb mate. Excited for you!
-
Haha yes they do and it chirps. Mind you the original Honda alarm on this did that too. And my prelude did. Just the ms had the gash system. Yup I advise people with one key to spend a little on a spare cus locksmith will rape your wallet probably because they know you have no other choice
-
Nearly 500 quid later I have a key and a fob! Woop woop. Thanks to the recommendations of you lot I have had toad alarm and immobiliser fitted. Very pleased with it. Few nice functions. Put the anti hijack on like a modern car. Wahoo.

Should also be a draining plug on tank. Ns rear of tank usually covered in stone chip. Take a bit of fuel from there. See what looks like?
-
Yes when injector is out its just in the top of injector. Flush it out with some car cleaner or something
