    It's awful news. God bless.
  2. 3 SPOKE ALLOYS?!??! Blurghhhhhh didn't like them at the time even. Think they looked okay ish on one car but i cant even remember what it was... Think it's been hidden in my subconscious for fear of disturbance being caused
  3. At least they don't have all those chrome trim strips like audis and passats did back then 😨
  4. Why you young whippersnapper you... It's a 90s car... Chrome was all the rage in those days... I liked the 90s ðŸ„
  5. Cool man, always good to get back into a Honda 😎
  6. I can't remember who it was, but someone's done theirs in white and that looked quite cool 😎 I like the contrast the chrome gives.
  7. oh, and I normally let the fuel pump "charge" (for want of a better word) before starting after turning the ignition on, and I'm sure that I can hear it as normal when the problem happens.
  8. cheers Jim, Don't think that it's the immobiliser - it's got a factory optional cat 1 alarm / immobiliser (rather than the ECU one) and that just stops the fuel pump afaik (it arms after a certain time from the fob being used to open the doors, so i start it often with the imobiliser active.... normally in petrol stations... when the engine dies after 5 seconds and it looks like I've stalled! ). Alternator is interesting though... I've actually got a spare because mine has been a bit noisy for years, just never got around to fitting it yet. Sounds like I need to dig it out of the "parts to fit" box
  9. Every now and again after running the car, if I come back to it (eg after dropping the little one off at nursery) nothing happens when I turn the key.... ...nothing at all.... lights on dash go out, but no sounds of anything trying to happen or clicks or anything. ignition off, try again, and starts as normal (sometimes takes a few extra cranks though). Anyone else have this or know what it could be? My lsi eg used to do the same, but then I used to have to leave it for 10-15mins or so. I mentioned it to a garage once, and the mechanic said that his mate's civic did the same and they didn't know what it was. odd
  10. http://www.oemacuraparts.com/ is where I got my gear bits from. Also http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/jsp/home.jsp http://www.parkacuraoemparts.com/partlocator/index.cfm?siteid=215332.
  11. Not sure if there's problems getting stuff delivered now, but the Honda parts websites in the states have pistons for stupid cheap prices compared to the uk. Worth checking out itr pistons oversized?
  12. In warm weather I've noticed the plastic cubby hole between the gear stick and the handbrake gets warm
  13. Pleased that you got it all sorted mate... Nice to see the thread title change
  14. Is that just the standard black (grey) skirts painted up? Looks really good... Been wondering about that for some time
  15. Those callipers look well smart in black chief 😎
  16. I'm too quick for 'em see... When they were checking my "bag" i grabbed my meds and headed for the door 🙌
  17. Nope, was surprised to see this so soon... Stuff from the states doesn't normally arrive too quick.
