  1. I'd tread carefully worth that one. As ali says, without uprated springs etc the engine will lunch itself revving that high. I'd still be tempted to swap the chip with the proper map on...
  2. Doesn't look like it... Same gasket is listed for ours and type r (and b16 as well). Be worthwhile sticking a new one on as well. Anyone know if there's any point in thermal ones?
  3. Having said that, I'm sure that I've heard people talking about needing an integra throttle cable - sure that @KiNK43 had to use one for his aftermarket one.
  4. Don't know yet In my mind it's an easy swap, but that doesn't count for much
  5. Think so. Think that ours is 60mm, but the type r is 62mm. Not a huge difference, but picked it up for about 25 quid plus postage.
  6. Postie is sick of me... Another thing that I've had my eye on for ages. Brackets need some love though.
  7. Finally.. Dc2 throttle body. Fancied one for yonks. Something that needs a bit of polishing
  8. Wheels look canny So, when you get the new ecu, would be worthwhile trying swapping the chips out, coz your old one was mapped to the car instead of being a random base map. That's assuming that something went wrong with the ecu and not the chip
  9. Looks top with that drop
  10. Heh, no way. Tubs is staying where she is I got the springs off another member (chi) for winter (when we were getting all the snow), but was never able to get them fitted.
  11. If you did want to go for jay's I've got a spare set of oem springs you could have for nowt.
  12. Two things a far as i know. Helps keep engine bay temp down, and keeps exhaust gases got, which means they flow faster.
  13. Heh... Think that they're welded to the bonnet! No signs of budging when i took the old ones off. Be a few more finallys coming up.
