Just be careful taking the chip out....
-
Wheels look canny So, when you get the new ecu, would be worthwhile trying swapping the chips out, coz your old one was mapped to the car instead of being a random base map. That's assuming that something went wrong with the ecu and not the chip

Looks top with that drop

Two things a far as i know. Helps keep engine bay temp down, and keeps exhaust gases got, which means they flow faster.

Wish is got them years ago instead of just keep thinking about it.

As krzys says, not aware of a crv gearbox being plundered for bits. People do use the b20 in civics with a vtec conversion, but not sure if they use the b20 gearbox or something else. Might be worthwhile looking at crv forums to see if anyone's used other b series gears in there crv gearbox... That might point you in the right direction.

My PB MB9 Aerodeck! Engine rebuild in progress
dr_broon replied to vtec2011's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
Looking very clean fella -
So, from what I understand all b series gearbox bits are interchangeable APART FROM the itr final drive needs the itr 1st gear to fit on the shaft (even though the ratio is the same as in the s9b) which I found out halfway through getting the install done.

Definitely bearing going. Happened to mine for a while before it filled the car with stinky smoke. Had to whip it out in a hurry!
