Thanks for your input mate! I can see what your saying but the thing is... I can just about cope driving at 70 I really liked the long gears on the original gearbox even though it was a bit too long. I didn't have to worry about how I drove because I always get good mpg! I will try and drive between 60-65 mph (spot on 3000rpm) and see what I get

Ideal... thanks mate! Ye I am over the moon with the new toys, especially the rear VTi-S lip! Just needs a respray and getting rid of that tow bar to fit it

Sooo as it's my birthday, I got a few toys for my Civic! A rear VTi-S lip, induction kit ( I will be putting my K&N filter on soon ) and a official Civic keyring! Thanks to my Dad and my Step-mum! I will be busy this week Oh ye and how do you edit the title of the thread? Thanks

Yes it is too short, not sure what the gearbox came from but the code is P9A B000 (I think it's a Y4 gearbox) Unfortunately the original gearbox (P4A B000) is knackered. Not sure what I get on the long run but mixed driving in eco mode, I get an average 40mpg

Just asking what your MB's rev at, so I can get an rough idea on how my car should rev when cruising on the duel carriageway / motorway. Mine rev's at 3500rpm @ 70mph (gearbox is not original) and my car is a MB3. Thanks

I have now got a new fault.. I had the common sun roof leak since I had the car (damp on the drivers side pillar) But now it's damp on the whole roof from front to rear and the roof liner is falling off So I got to sort out the sunroof again and some how stick the roof liner back on. Or I could put a new roof liner on, maybe black or dark red sheet Apart from that, I still haven't done anything to the car but it's my 21st Birthday this Sunday! So I might get some goodies Picture of the roof liner coming off...

I just been given a inlet manifold today (I cannot remember what it came off, either a D16Z6 or D16Y8) and I'm wondering if there's any point fitting it to my MB3? It's got the throttle body, map sensor, fuel rail and injectors attached to it, BONUS! I can't see how it would make a difference in power but I thought I ask anyway... Thanks
