    What a classy looking wee MB2. I love the work carried on this so far, especially the arch work! And the VTi-S lip kit goes nicely with those rims too. Good job mate

    Whatever floats your boat! I'd personally prep it and then take it to the bodyshop. Pirates Black is not exactly the easiest colour to bring up after a respray. I had that problem with the mid-spoiler. I got Pirates Black paint mixed from the bodyshop into an aerosol can. The colour came up pretty dull (slightly faded) even though I applied lacquer over it. I might be doing something wrong but it's just easier to go for a proper respray with the professional spray kit

    Speaking of number plates. Would import (12x6) pressed plates look too small on our Aerodecks? Loving the grill by the way Maz

    It's the prep which actually cost money. The spraying side of it is actually peanuts. Well... for me it is anyway Took photos of the other Aerodeck today looking sorry for itself

    I have sanded it down and primer'd it up. Then took it into the bodyshop for it to be sprayed up. I only have to pay for the paint so should only cost around 20-30 quid But they haven't touched it yet....

    Appreciate the comments It seems to be behaving itself lately, no starting issues at all... Still bugs me when I go to start it in the cold mornings because you just don't know. But it's been good as gold so far

    Been really slacking to come on here lately, but then I haven't had time over Christmas and the New Year. I bought a Christmas present for the Aerodeck. A VTi-S front lip!! I been wanting one for bloody years, as you probably knew when I had my old MB3. This lip was on my mates MB6 before he sold it. Tis a shame it's gone but he now owns a Lexus GS300 The front and rear VTi-S lip is now in the body shop getting resprayed in Pirates Black. And I have finally modified a set of mint headlights which will be fitted sometime next week when I go back to work

    What I really like about Wellers is the fact they're a lot cheaper to buy than most other Wheel companys. The Wellers I test fitted only cost my mate something like £280 including delivery (without tyres) Go on other sites, they cost double!!

    I'm in the same boat. I'm thinking about buying Wheller Wheels in 15x8 but I really like the look of 16" on Aerodecks. The big advantage of 15" you can get top quality tyres at a very good price. Like the Bridgestone tyres on my car now, brnd new 195 50 15 Performance Bridgestone tyres only costing me £70 for 2!
