No updates mate, literally just been driving her! Compared with a standard MB6, feels really tought/stiff but planted compared the MB's boat-like suspension! Lack of LSD is a bit of a downer but that's only because I was so used to it. Feels much more nippy and ready to go low down, I don't miss the IAB drop-off from 1st-2nd gear. Axle tramp is annoying, because these Toyo's don't grip well in the wet, whenever I go near the throttle in 1st or 2nd it just spins then the front end bounces trying to remove the dash! Road noise is worse but I've gotten used to it, I plan to get some dynomat or similar in there when I do the speaker upgrades, hopefully help with that. For a standard car though I really enjoy driving it as it is! I don't feel I "need" to rush into mods for it, but there's a few things I'd like, some induction noise as I've said already, not bothered about exhaust. Might K100 it in the future to release some mid-range powahz. Might also do a few upgrades to the brakes, at least better fluid if nothing else! It's not as practical as the MB but it's still big enough for what I need! I need to deal with the window rattle because it's annoying, also get some delfectors fitted so I don't get wet every time it spits outside!

Still ouch! I only paid £1200 on my first car when I was 18 with zero NCB and that was fully comp too! £400 I pay currently!

Not sure, I wouldn't have thought they'd be that cruel? The Type R's fuel light comes on way early for the fuel I managed to get back in! Not put more than 45l in yet but I'm sure it's a 50l tank.

How else are you supposed to decide when to annoy the neighbours without a remote?

My brother says the Corolla is sh1t and to avoid it like the plague. The 100bhp 1.4 Fiat engine is a fun little rascal, had a 500 as a courtesy car once and it was fun, until I went on the motorway then it was scary Golf is basically the same as the S3 as you know, thought you'd want something a bit different from the Audi? What about a Megane 225? As a wildcard idea.

Good luck dude! I haven't a clue either!

Nice one on the MOT! Be good to see the list when you have an idea of cars you'd like!

Try cleaning the contacts on the ignition barrel first, been known for that to cause the problem you describe.

Yes, very much so I'm afraid! Keep an eye out first week of the month to enter mate. -
Usually the tail light seals, remove the tail lights, clean up the general area and the seals and obviously dry out the boot. See how you get one, you might want to replace the foam seals if it's still becoming and indoor pool.
