Yeah, we will have to go searching for that horse he was controlling to steal our picnic food!
  4. As long as you smooth off any rough edges you should be fine mate.
  5. Yeah, the oil crash where something like 300+ people got made redundant and fuel dropped below £1/litre.
  6. Did you heat up the metal while you were rolling it?

Bloody hell didn't realise it was two years already!!
  8. So on Thursday 23rd June we took Dave for his first all day open pitlane session! We went to Cadwell Park and took our Dad with us, this was a joint birthday and fathers day present for him to let him drive the track car. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed the day! Large variety of cars, a few offs and good banter with the other people there. Between us we did 65 laps of the track, it was the most hard work I've ever done for track driving so far, the circuit is narrow, twisty and so intricate in parts! The car performed so well, took a lot of abuse. We were quick in a straight line but this track really highlighted the handling shortfalls against some of the other cars. Though a couple of Clio's were running slicks! Thanks to @Jayhoath83 for our latest sticker, VTEC farting unicorn in rainbow vinyl! Sound testing, 105db limit and we made 105db! After my Dad took a trip on the grass! Rain tyres Semi slicks Cooling off. Track drying out, too much for the wets! Old skool Astra, bloke bought in from the Netherlands a week before the track day! The three loons and Dave. Videos: Dad Stef Krzys
  9. Sorry Dave but I clearly remember your massive rant when Scotland voted to remain a part of the UK. You were so desperate for Scotland to become independent. Then since the oil crash happened you've changed your mind?
  10. Worth changing the gearbox oil too, plus then while it's empty it'll be a little lighter too.
  11. I would say just an OEM or OE clutch will do. Gearbox off but you don't need to take the engine out. I would imagine you could do it on your own in a single day. I don't believe you need any special tools.
