Just swapped a spare sump I had for a front a rear bumper from a vtis with both lips. My bumpers need painted so this means I can just get these done instead just need to meet up with @powerofdreams and get the vtis sideskirts off him. The guys also breaking a full mb6 and says I'm welcome to come help myself to any bits I need
  4. The 16" accord wheels really suite it! Looks like it's made a difference mate. I did a wee 2nd gear pull vid the other day and I'm sure I hit the limiter in 2nd at 70mph
  5. Lol yep kids got sunburnt last week and pelted with snow on the way home from nursery the other day. will be keeping an eye out for you on the roads il be sure to engage vtec when I'm next passing your work lol
  6. Car sits perfect on those wheels mate! Let me know what you think of the s4c!

Cheers guys! Managed to give the car a half decent wash today, managed the engine bay too.
  11. That bolt was the first thing I checked and it's fine. Tried new oil too and it's still the same
  12. Cars looking great mate! A gearbox is next on my list, seen a y21 box local so hopefully it's still there when I get the cash. Did you say your current box is sometimes stiff changing gears? Mines gets like that when it's hot.

Started to restore the hks 4-1 manifold I won on eBay. The lower tubes were a bit flat and it's had some dodgy repair on the bends. also made a jig from the standard tie bar and made my own.

The guy I bought it from stays in Melrose in the borders, Keith was his name. In sure he said he was a member on the forum.

Pretty much just use the stop/tail holder and put it in the top of the lights (passenger side needs a cap removing) and just splice the wires into the original stop/tail light.

    My mb6

Done a few wee bits on the civic lately. I had the rear tail light bulb holders from my old mb6 so I decided to do the jdm tail light mod. i also had the old back box I'd had made for my previous mb6 too. It was them fitted to my aerodeck and then my coupe lol so I cut the outward rolled tip off and went to see a local exhaust fabricator in wallyford. His welding and fabrication work is unreal! Such a nice guy too who also has an interest in Hondas. We proceeded to swap the tip for me and whilst it was on the ramp I discovered that the current custom exhaust is 2.25" with a 421 with the same size collector. The fabricator even admitted that the b series engines like to breath and a 2.5" system would be better. Iv since won a 4-1 hks manifold with 2.5" collector, made an adjustable 2.5" decat so il now just gather the parts needed to complete the exhaust build. Here's some bad pics of my new tip.
  18. Hi guys, some of you may remember my previous M's... http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o179/bikerboymarv/7C3A7163-B5D6-471B-ABC8-ABF95F3FFBE0_zpszrm3cjug.jpg[/IMG] http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o179/bikerboymarv/A641B62F-7213-4D00-9D4A-B77FEAFB4700_zpsz6eurzgs.jpg[/IMG] http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o179/bikerboymarv/2418819E-E1E6-4049-B6CF-FFA30DAD7637_zpsuv0xeepx.jpg[/IMG] http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o179/bikerboymarv/EB1F4B48-F648-49AF-9291-D97BD626B78E_zpsef4drzej.jpg[/IMG] http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o179/bikerboymarv/7FC741DF-EA2F-45D4-8D9F-87A13A531920_zps377yuul2.jpg[/IMG] swapped my aerodeck a wee while back for a facelift ek coupe. Spent a bit time tidying it up and preparing it for a b series engine swap (my old c4 from the mb6 which dropped a valve and needing rings) but when browsing Facebook one day I found a preface lift coupe with a b16 conversion and some other tasty parts for sale local, and cheap. I bought that, sold my facelift coupe and spent a bit time sorting some of the bodges on the new coupe. Then when browsing Facebook again lol I came across a nicely spec'd mb6 which was also fairly local for a good price. The guy I bought the coupe off was eager to buy it back so I said if he gave me what the mb6 was going for then we could do a deal, which he jumped at. After driving the mb6 I knew I had to have it, I felt right at home. I prefer the styling of the m civics and I feel their very underrated which makes them more appealing to me a ma brief spec on the new mb6 is... B18c4 421 manifold Decat Custom stainless catback Top fuel carbon induction kit Apexi neo controller Vtec set at 4.8k Lightened flywheel Short shifter Momo gearknob Polybushed Koni adjustables Buddyclub front camber arms M2 rear camber arms Braided brake lines Drilled and grooved discs Lightweight evo alloys Additional upper strut brace Kode dished steering wheel Hid low hi kit Mesh grille De tangoed and sprayed headlights the car has been owned by enthusiasts and feels very good to drive. There is one issue with the gearbox/or linkage. It become stiff and hard to remove/engage gears when it's warm. Iv replaced the oil but this hasn't made much difference. Next I'm going to change the short shifter and linkage to see if this helps. Apart from that it's a joy to drive. I plan on adding my own wee touches to the car and just generally tidy bits up. heres a couple pics I snapped when I bought 2 weeks ago... http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o179/bikerboymarv/E1C11B16-5D24-457E-A9F5-02387C2D5887_zpsqko4agqq.jpg[/IMG] http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o179/bikerboymarv/1596DC20-54E7-47ED-B2C0-F3F1084F7357_zpseliwx1ri.jpg[/IMG] http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o179/bikerboymarv/7713D1EA-23BF-4445-BFAD-525A77151969_zpsqoe0j0lk.jpg[/IMG] http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o179/bikerboymarv/998D6822-7D42-4F1C-86A2-4E0141945666_zpsgtxe5xuj.jpg[/IMG] http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o179/bikerboymarv/1EB54978-8515-4721-B625-1D1EE069CEF8_zpsptorhdfv.jpg[/IMG] http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o179/bikerboymarv/6888605E-F6D6-40D5-BE10-CD32F1141CB1_zpsihpgyudz.jpg[/IMG] http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o179/bikerboymarv/54BDEF81-5818-421A-B292-C374F2E1E09E_zpsjbej18bt.jpg[/IMG]
  19. Na it's just shows the before and after. Hopefully a member who has done the mod will see this and help me out lol nightshift tonight so might try have a look and see if I can figure it out.
  20. I mind there was a "how to guide". When I google it the guys car comes up "g_unit" I think his name was, but it just shows his build thread. I'm sure there's one side that requires a red bulb? i have my old holders that I used in my old mb6,?just need to know what to do again lol
  21. Hi guys, used a guide on here before to do the jdm tail light mod on my old mb6. Can't seem to find the thread. Anyone help me out? Still getting use to the new layout on my phone lol
  22. It's a lot nicer to drive with this steering wheel like. Iv noticed the gear change seems stiffer once warm. I know it's just had new shafts fitted so might be low on oil. I have some decent oil so I'm gonna drain and swap it and see if it helps.
  23. Aye I drove it today and felt better lol il maybe take it off and grease the moving parts. Just fitted my dished Kode steering wheel and I'm loving driving it
  24. Hi guys, just picked up my mb6 and I noticed on the test drive and drive home that it's stiff selecting gears. I thought it was maybe the bottom bolt on the short shifter being tight but I just checked and it's ok. It has a short throw as expected but just stuff selecting gears. Any ideas?
