  2. Thanks for the nomination @UnicyclingTom be a good send off to the deck
  3. Don't think he's owned the vtis for a while now, says it went down South.
  4. Love this car mate! Good to see your putting in the work to get her back ship shape.
  5. Such a nice example mate! Can fairly shift too. Top work on the gearbox mods
  6. Love it mate! Those brakes tho!!!! Your mad lol
  7. Thanks for the positive comments guys! The deck will be missed. Yes the full b18 swap is still here @Dave It's fairly stock, very clean tho! Came with brand new unfitted skunk 2 lcas, ADR sub frame brace, beaks bar, ek9 rep front lip and grille and iv already got coilovers for it and might try fit my old custom back box from the deck. And yes il defo be attending any upcoming civic5 meets
  8. I sure did! He had a vtis before with teg wheels and says he registered when he had that. Comes from Cowdenbeath so not that far from you!
  9. I know guys! Was amazing how well it looked for very little money and mods! The coupe will soon be sitting low and will probably get some banded steels
  10. Well guys last night I waved goodbye to the aerodeck. Swapped it for a ek coupe. Felt I'd got the deck to where I wanted looks wise and just had the urge for something else. Was gutting watching it drive away but it did look awesome lol I plan to still use the forum! Met a lot of nice people and it's a great place to come read an chat. Il get a project thread up for the coupe soon.
  11. Thanks buddy! I like the front end myself just new to get my b18 built as I was getting jealous of all you guys and your vtec lol Who at the meet had the black aerodeck vtis? Can't remember their username
  12. Love this car Ali! Sounds sooo good. Could just hear it vtecing away in the distance, a very well put together car.
  13. Loved this car at the meet! Sounds awesome and you can fairly pedal lol
  14. Was tailing this for a good while on our run today. Very impressed with the high miles and zero smoke! She's a good'un @philgor
  15. Cheers mate! See you tomorrow Fancied a change so swapped my standard grille for a mesh one I made last year for the mb6. Didn't like it on the silver mb6 but I like the way in looks on the blue deck. Not had much time to clean the car so snuck in a quick garage clean before the meet tomorrow. Got the drivers side wing mirror in the house glueing it back together, hope it stays on for the meet lol just typical last min prep work.
  16. Will look awesome mate! Wish I could get my deck sitting lower at the back but it's as low at it can go on the coilovers. Fronts are about halfway and it's low enough. Like how yours sits nice an flat.
  17. Haha should give you some good stretch like. When you hoping to have them?
  18. When I get time I'm gonna cut up my old 8" ones and make it a 10" just to see how it looks
  19. Should look sweet on those wheels man! What tyre size you gonna run?
  20. Already thinking about 9s for the front as the 8.5 aren't filling the arches like I'd hoped. Don't think I'd get 10" on the back without stupid camber or bolt on flares. Hmmm....
  21. So today I went on a quest to find the fairest priced place to fit my tyres. Iv bought a manual tyre machine but need to buy/make a bar which won't scratch the rims. Tried 3 different places local to me, first place wanted £12 a wheel, 2nd wanted to do a deal at £15 as they usually charge £20! Ended up getting it done at the 3rd place for £10. Only downside is they managed to scrape one of the wheels it's not too bad and the paint job ain't perfect anyway but il get it sorted. Gonna get myself setup for fitting and balancing tyres myself. Got the wife's car too so means I could end up paying over £100 just to get tyres fitted to both cars. Some teaser pics of the stretch...
