  1. Seriously impressive man. What a fantastic car you've built. Normally pics hide the flaws.. But in this case there's nothing to hide. Absolutely perfect in the flesh!

  3. Thought i'd open a projects thread for my MC1. 92,000 on the clock and run's well other than a few small problems, thankfully nothing big. No mods on it as of yet other than the wheels and a few stickers, but that's set to change as got a set of MeisterR coilovers to get on them(Thanks to people here for me finding them, and also having the group buy!). Named her 'Wolf' on account of the number plate, So here's a picture of her from about 2 weeks ago on my phone... Please excuse all the bug splatters on it, work nights and take back roads home so no matter how much i clean it it's covered again the next day so taken to doing it once it gets so bad. I do like the wood trim, but though i'd see how this 'Zilla' camo would look. Personally I think it looks good(better than a sticker bomb one), just wish I did a better job of putting it on. I understand it's not to everyone's liking though. Hope to update this with better pictures, and the coilovers fitted.

  5. For the best of the best it has to be Meister R coilovers mate. They give you a fully adjustable drop, and also fully adjustable damping stiffness (32 clicks). I bought them for my MB6 hatch and have now got them on my MC1 deck, and the difference is incredible. On the MB6, I had a mildly stiff set up (19 clicks front, 21 clicks rear) which was stiff but still comfortable. The car was lowered 35mm, so looked sweet, and the handling was totally transformed. No more understeer, even in the wet. I set it so I had a progressive oversteer, so she was totally controlable. There have been a few from here that went out in her, and couldn't believe the handling. She is sooooooo planted on the road! For the deck, I didnt want to loose the oem comfort, so went for 15 clicks on the front, and 17 clicks on the rear. The decks been lowered 40mm, as it suits that little bit more lows due to the length of the car. Again, this set up has proved brilliant! The comfort over rough roads is still the same as oem, but cornering wise, the steering is more positive and there is no body roll in the corners, car stays nice and flat. We fiddled about a bit to get the best overall setting for what i wanted, and the above setting is perfect. And has only once had a mishap on a speed bump, in the garage near Japfest2. The front mudflaps slightly scraped going over the bump, but it was a quite brutal speed bump tbh! Here's how she sits on them The only downside is the price. But you do get a discount if you use the civic5 discount code at the meisterR checkout, so for the money, I'd deffo say it's the best set up available. Just depends on if you plan on keeping the deck a while.................if so, then money well invested

  6. Wow crazy awesome build man, real inspiration! Quick question - Did the B series engine loom connect to your dash loom or did you have to do something fancy? Thanks man, and keep up the good work.

  17. Got the coilies fitted, went a little too low as the decat is dragging along the road far too often. Going to have to raise it for a while until I get a better de-cat Mid progress shot And completed Matt

  19. So this update was ment to happen before japfest but in the end I ran out of time. so have changed a couple things on my mb only small stuff but still cool. Starting with the plastic bit bellow the windscreen. I decided to pull off the matt faded black version and replace it with one I had sprayed in 2 packed black. old version: new version: small mod but nice Next mod is my side skirts, Thanks to my good friend Adam RHD i got another set of vti skirts which I wanted to spray body colour to test the look. out with the old in with the new. car looks like this now and the last simple mod is. the classic JDM rear light mod which i love and from that japfest happened and it was awsomeeeeeee!! so i will end this update with a nice photo of my M from the day.

  20. Got the coilovers on at last. Loving the way they look! Need to raise the back though, a bit too low(N/S is the worst). A tip to the tip ended well with me holding people up trying to get across a speed bump. Also when going for a drive when I did a hard left turn in a empty car park(on a slope) got a bad noise... Other than that I'm happy with them!
