Yeah, the big tuners are only interested in one or two clubs, which is disappointing but understandable I suppose. Rich and dynodaze are still here, but know they are really busy nowadays. Will contact some of the above, see if we can get them onboard chaps

Yeah, mega scary, but exciting as hell too! Wish I could take credit for the photos, but its a guy whos a photographer that took them. Bloody amazing photos, wish I'd thought to get the camera out, but fear the shots from under the bed would probably not looked as good! lol

It was scary to say the least mate! lol Whole house was shaking!!

Stunning mb6 mate! Love the amount of work you've put into her so far, well worth the results!

Didnt have hail, but heavy rain. What we did have though was the most extreme thunder and lightning I have ever seen in my life!!! Gayle and me were lying there (Gayle loving every minute of the lightning and wanting to go outside!!!!) and it was right above the house at one point!! Lasted for around an hour. The following photo was taken by someone from a house up the road from me on the opposite side of the street. The cottages in the silhouette.........my house is around 300 yards to the left of them!!!!! Epic stuff!

Thought it ran out tomorrow as that's when the reminder said it did! Doh! So tomorrow it gets mot and also need to tax it. Expensive Month!

lol my thoughts too Alex, bloody high price for some bolts. Mine are all buggered though so left me no option Got the old cover sitting on the workbench, so gonna have another go at getting them out of the old rocker.Otherwise I'll need to cut them off. Don't want to bin a perfectly good cover cause of some dumb ass bolts! lol

Yeah, that was Ruby mate. Exactly the same thing, the wee stud that one of the bolts goes into unscrewed from the head, meaning probs removing the rocker cover. Pain in the backside those studs! Think I'll put some copper grease on the new bolts before doing them up, should hopefully stop them getting stuck to the studs.

Just aswell I ordered new bolts for it................went to remove it and all 5 bolts are busted. The studs that they go into have got stuck on the bolts and can't get them off, so all new bolts it is ( £57 ouch!) Things are never simple!

And a cheeky wee photo, before it gets fitted. The chrome lettering has still got some gluey crap on it from the masking tape, but I'll leave it about a week before getting it off with some white spirit. Just heard back from honda, the new gasket is in stock so will be picking that up probs Monday

Oh my word!!!!! The beasty is alive!!!! Sounds sweet as mate, and a totally epic build! Had to laugh at your face in the vid, pure cheesing!!!!! And quite rightly too! Makes me want another Tina now, or something old Ford. Really like the custom front end on it, the lights etc kinda give it an almost mk3 tina look/American muscle car look. When she gonna be hitting the streets?

Damn sorry to see you've sold up mate, she was a cracking looking deck. Been through your village a couple of times this week and wondered why I didnt see her! Good to hear she'd gone to someone who's had a civic M before, hopefully means she'll be looked after (and we'll see her again!). Was the coupe modded before you bought it? Keep seeing a gunmetal grey coupe going around here, and there's a blue one and silver one too. All modded. Looking forward to seeing it, and glad your staying with the club Get the coupe along to the next meet!

Well, not been up to much with DD lately, so thought I better get some stuff done! One thing I've been looking to change is the temp rocker/cam cover that I fitted for Japfest2 last year (the pinky/purple one). Bought it as a temp one whilst I prepped and painted DD's own cover, and tbh, the paint finish on the temp one was gash! It had been done before I bought it, and I wasn't really happy with the finish (or colour). So, been busy sanding down and prepping. The covers have some "join lines" from when they were cast, which I wanted rid of as it would spoil the look, so I machined them out to give it a cleaner look. Next up, I decided that the cover was gonna be colour coded to the car (Orleans Blue) but wanted some bling to break it up. Long term plans are doing some air brushing to it aswell. So I machined the "HONDA" lettering smooth, then used a metal polishing kit to bring them up to a chrome finish. Which should look good with the blue. Just finished it around 10 mins ago, has had around 6 coats of lacquer, and is looking sweet! Now got it baking at 80 degrees (don't ask!) so should be ready for taking the masking off the lettering. Just been on the phone to Honda (waiting on a call back) as I'm ordering up new rocker cover gasket, new rocker bolts and the wee rubber seals that go in the spark plug holes. Want it all as good as new. Hoping the new bolts are chromed like the ones I got for Ruby, if not, may metal polish them. Pics to follow once its ready!! Going to see about a stainless manifold for her next, and then some more engine bay detailing. Should look good along with the blue hose kit from Chandler. Also going to do a small exterior mod, but keeping it secret just now!

Yeah, they approached us to be traders, and going by the name they used, we believed they were an actual Honda dealership (there's one with the exact same name). We found out quickly they weren't though (and banned them from the forum) ,and as said above, there was a hella lot of bad press about them on FB at the time. Not sure if they have changed or have become more reputable, but personally I would steer well clear.

Time seems to go by so quickly guys. Nick was one of the good guys, and a credit to this club and everyone who knew him. Hard to believe it's been a year since he passed away. Been 2 years since Dawn passed away too, and still feels like it was yesterday. That's the effect good people like these have on us all, and we'll never stop missing them Bet they've both been watching us in the club from up there (and knowing them, probably taking the pee!). But at least we had the pleasure of knowing them and being a part of their lives, and for that, we'll always be thankful

No probs Mae! Get yourself a wee holiday over here, and we'll get a civic5 meet organised! Be great to see you (and your civic in the metal!)

@mae-civic We've added them to the civic5 shop Mae. Pricing wise, I wasn't able to set it up to sell in euros, has to be GB pounds, so have checked the amount using a currency convertor. The payments are set so they go direct to you. Can you check them in the civic5 shop and let me know if there's anything that needs changing, and double check the price to make sure its ok? I used the details you used in the first post in this thread, and edited it slightly for the advert. Hopefully this will help you to sell more, and thanks again for getting these made.

Just setting this up at the moment
