  1. Looking sweet as mate, love the whole purple and white theme, and those rims look amazing! Always wanted a white deck, rare as feck, especially a vti one. Just think they look really good in this colour. Subs looking good too! Whats the new parts, or are they being kept secret? lol PS: photo updates : Forum, whatthefeckapp, Facewank, twatter, etc etc.....................Thats THE CIVIC5 rules of order!! lol We want pics in here first where we can all see them!
  2. Looking minty fresh mate, loving the rainbow pics! Pirates black does look awesome when the sun hits it, and love this deck! Looks sweet!
  3. Thats pretty good going mate, all cheap to fix! Always good to get that fresh ticket on it eh!
  4. Mega cudos to you doing this work yourself mate, makes it even more satisfying when its all back together and problem is fixed. I want to get the engine out of DD sometime soon to get the bay fully detailed, and get the engine all cleaned and painted. Luckily never had any engine probs with her at all in the 12 or so years we've had her now, engine seems really healthy so won't be taking it apart! lol Might even do a wire tuck on her, will see how it all goes. Love following your build mate, always a lot of work going on and a very interesting read!
  5. That was Gav (vtiVroom) from Manchester mate, was up with Simon. Your deck was looking stunning at the meet, and was great to finally meet you! lol
  6. @fyfie5 If it's been empty mate, there will most probably be air in the system. Can't remember the exact sequence for bleeding them, as its been a while since I did them, but think its rear left first, then front drivers side, then rear right and lastly front pass side. Top up the resevoir first though, and leave the cap off during the whole process. You'll need to keep topping it up as you go, so keep and eye on it. Don't let it go down far or again, you'll be drawing air in. If you're stuck, you can bring it down to mine if you want and I'll give you a hand to do it in my garage? As long as all the bleed nipples free off easily, it's a doodle to bleed the brakes mate. I usually order a full set of new ones before I start so that any dodgy ones can be replaced One last thing though, if the fluid resevoir was empty (or almost) then I suspect you have a leaking rear cylinder, a leak at the front calipers, or possibly the master cylinder itself. Have a good look around the above areas for any sings of fluid weeping out.
  7. ooooooooooooooooooh! We like updates!!!
  8. Never been a fan of tyre stretch...............................................................BUT them wheels!!!!!!!!! That looks lush mate! Think thats a first civic m wearing those rims too!
  9. Looking good mate, loving the new seats too!
  10. I like shiney!! I know wrapping it has obvious heat advantages, but think they always look best unwrapped. Engine bay bling!
  11. Nice update jay!Looks so much better when they are lowered, and looks like a good wee set up you have. And nowt wrong with having the chrome!! Makes it different to the rest of the modded ones imo! lol DD still has all her chrome, and with the chrome on the wheels, it all seems to work fine. I've even added chrome/stainless detailing on the interior, and think it all ties in nicely. Chrome is the new black! lol
  12. And just when you think this car can't get any better,............boom! That's gonna look nice and sound sweet Mae.
  13. I'll probs take two as I think Gayle will also want one
  14. Cracking idea mate! Yeah, a poll would be the best bet, see which is the most popular then get a list started with that. Count me in!

    MC1 lowering

Yeah as Tom says mate, you'll probably need the arches rolled. Can't see it not rubbing without some arch work.

    Hi I'm new

Welcome mate! Come to the right place for all things MB Civic! Agree the search for a decent low miler VTiS will be a long one, as most, including the mint ones, have sadly been bought just to be broken for spares. Sub 100K ones are like hens teeth now, although anything up to 150K, as long as theres a decent service history behind it, should still be a good buy. The decent VTi's asre also being snapped up by breakers just now, which is sad, so if you do spot one, act quickly and go and see it. I've seen a few pop up on auto trader with decent low miles, and they were relatively cheap, so they are still out there. Be prepared to travel for the best one though bud. Enjoy the site and have a good look around, especially in the members cars section. Gives you inspiration for when you get yours!
  17. Looking forward to seeing this one come together!
  18. best bet is pick up a Haynes manual on ebay mate, they have good wiring diagrams at the back of them Not sure if our downloadable PDF has the wiring diagrams also, so worth downloading that from the forum. It's got loads of useful info in it so always worth having
  19. Big congrats on the new arrival mate! Sleepless nights ahead! lol The civics looking good mate, as much as I love the lexus, I'd deffo stick with the M. Simple enough to tone down the noise, and having 5 doors just as practical as the lexus too. I had probs insuring the deck (DD) last year due to fitting coilovers. For some reason, the underwriters just wouldnt entertain it. Shopped around, and got some scary prices! In the end, SKY Insurance on here came good and were cheaper than the rest, with all mods declared. They also take into account the value of the mods, and these are listed in the policy so alls good.
  20. Pic would be best mate so we can see exactly what the problem is
  21. Tidy looking mb6 mate, and looks like MGZS sideskirts. Liking your plans for it!
  22. Welcome mate! What a stunning looking deck! Great choice of wheels and the drop in height is nice! Love the look of this one! enjoy the site.
  23. Oops! I thought it would show when I played with PayPal! I'll pm it to you when I get home
  24. Hi guys! We are currently looking to enlarge our list of traders, and would like to hear from you all about companies you have used more than once that you think might be able to offer olur members a good deal on parts or services, whether mechanical or paint/powder coating, tuning etc We have already contacted Grinspeed and TDiNorth, but both are too busy to be able to work in the forum just now. But there are loads of other reputable companies out there that could be worth a shout. We are also contacting various Honda dealerships to see if any wish to come on board.
