Loving them wheels in any colour, good choice! They'll deffo look good on the M. Might need a slight bit of camber, but nothing major.

Mate, you can use the same photo, but use an image resizer on it. Download this free (and extremely good) resizer. You can do either one photo, or a whole folder at once. It's a great bit of kit, and means you can still have pics at a decent size, but the KB will be smaller. Try saving it as " .png" too, as its a more compressed format than jpg/bmp

Yeah, I tried it on my phone at work and it was actually pretty good on the mobile theme! I like the way Tapatalk works though, its pretty smooth and really quick. Time will tell!

Ok guys (and Gals!) we have been updating the profile features, and have added in the same ones we had back on the old forum. Can EVERYONE make sure they fill these in please. Location, name (first name, not username) and type of car etc. You can go to your profile by clicking the wee drop down box next to your name at the top of the page (next to "log out"), then click "My settings". You will see the new fields to be filled in there. These make it easier to know roughly where folk are when buying/selling etc, and it's also nicer to know the name of the members we chat to in the forum. makes it a whole lot friendlier. Thanks folks!

lol yeah mate, got this completed far quicker than I thought we could! We did send an email out saying that the forum was now offline ready to be converted. That reminds me, I havent sent one out saying we're back!!!

We're now onto our brand new I.P. Board forum software! Another milestone converting from our old PhPBB forum, and making civic5.com future proof

Hi guys. Well, we have now purchased and installed the latest IP Boards forum software. The old PhpBb platform was showing it's age, and it was time for move. The conversion process was long and complicated, and there are a few wee errors to sort out, but we'll get there. A few that spring to mind are the profile photo. Unfortunately, the path to the photo directory is wrong (it didnt change ovr in the conversion) so I need to do some editing of the main site templates to sort this. So you'll see on the main forum page that the "latest posts" bit on the right hand side will have "photo" in every post! This will change once I sort things out.UPDATE: THIS IS NOW FIXED! Also, when you go to look at topics, you'll notice that where you can usually click the right hand side of a topic to see the latest post, the last post/username is kinda circled. Clicking it won't take you to the last post yet. the reason is that all the "last posts made" in the old forum are the ones you see with a circle round the last post bit as described above. Until someone makes a new post using this new forum, the last post link will not work! I have a sneaky way to get round this (I'm gonna do a Tom and spam all topics with a simple smiley post!! lmao!) once that is done, the last post function will work normally. There is so much still to set up, it's really time consuming and mentally draining! I haven'e even started on replacing all our current webpages yet! The Gallery feature is a new thing! It's in the menu bar at the top of the page. The gallery is exclusively for Gold/Silver/Bronze members. they can create an album for their car etc. Normal members can view the gallery and the cars in it, but cannot create and album. The "Civic5 Store" which is also in the main menu, is another new feature. Here, you will be able to buy your choice of membership, and everything will be fully automated! PLEASE DONT USE IT RIGHT AWAY, AS WE HAVENT QUITE GOT IT FINISHED YET!! Theme wise, you can select your theme in the link at the bottom of the forum. There is the standard IP Board theme, the IP Board Mobile theme, and a basic Civic5 theme. We will be working on getting really nice flashy civic5 theme created in the future, and also will be installing Tapatalk in the forum too, as this proved to be very popular! New Theme now created and installed! 22/6/13 We hope you like your new forum, and continue to use it as much as you did before (hopefully even more!!)

lol sorry mate! there are some small issues, and it'll take time before it's running perfect, but at least the main big job has been done and the conversion appears to have worked. There's a mobile theme if you scroll to the bottom of the page mate to "change theme". not sure how good it is though! Tapatalk will be installed once the faults are ironed out

Further update (I just can't stop working on it!) I have managed to create a basic Civic5 theme for the new forum! Not quite as flash as here, but at least it's not just standard IP board one! The IP board also comes with a built in mobile theme, although not sure what it's like tbh. Might get tapatalk installed there too

Update time again! Ok, we now have the I.P.board forum software installed, and up and running. There are a few niggles to sort out, but have been working on it all day (while I'm feeling ill too! ) so done enough for tonight. The next step is too close down civic5, then get our web hosts to back up the database again. Then the harder part begins..............converting civic5 phpBB to IP.board! It'll probably take a while, so you're favourite site is going to be offline I'm affraid. But once its all be done, we hope you think it's worth it!! And the good news is the membership scheme will be fully automated, and memberships will run from the day you buy the subscription! There's also extra stuff for our Gold/silver members! all in all, it should be great!

Ok guys, you may have noticed the forum went tits up!! Sorry, had a big problem with the database, so luckily our server host company (as always) were able to help out and show me how to get us back on line! Thank feck for that!!!! The progress continues, working with a techy in USA so time diff is hampering things a bit!
