  1. It is a beautiful car. Wheels look great on it. And yeah that interior. Lost for words. Now that's a proper job!
  2. Seriously impressive man. What a fantastic car you've built. Normally pics hide the flaws.. But in this case there's nothing to hide. Absolutely perfect in the flesh!
  3. Looks stunning in red mate. Well nice. Cool swap aswell!
  4. Did ya get a chip Done James?
  5. Cars looking sweet man. Fair play to ya made the most of the day..
  6. @Krzys Advance anticlockwise. Retard clockwise. Aim timing light at crank pulley. There are 4 marks.1 is tdc. The other 3 are closely bunched at 14°,16° and 18° 16 is optimal. Some timing lights have a display which would allow you to set the gun at 16° and use the tdc mark to time. Cheap ones won't likely have that function tho. Always use cylinder one nearest cam belt. And your aiming to get that middle 16° mark in line with the mark on the cam belt cover. It's pretty obvious. Also when you adjust link the 2 pin connector otherwise ecu will try make on the fly adjustments. And ya don't want that.
  7. In that case it's gonna be a sensor. When you take the lambda out of the equation. The ecu will ignore the sensors and refer to a generic fuel table. It's highly likely that it's actually you lambda at fault Imo. You do absolutely need to get the ignition timing checked aswell. 5 minute job and can make a real difference. As Paul said even just try advancing it slightly see if the condition improves. Or then try retarding it see if it improves. But ultimately get it timed up properly. Lookjng af the casting of your new dizzy it looks the same as my aftermarket and mine is almost at full advance. To be where it needs to be. So I'd say your ignition timing is probably out for sure
  8. B series rad is a b series rad. So yeah they should fit.
  9. I have now realised that my turbo timer has died aswell. Haha. Suddenly realised I don't get all the American style beeps and bongs when I start my car any more. ((
  10. Yeah its more how smoothly it delivers voltage throughout its range that's important. And it was working spot on in that respect. Very smooth
  11. Still has vtec tho the new one. Be interesting to see how they are tho. But I think the need for a turbo is more down to keeping the emissions/economy at an acceptable level. That's why most modern vehicles are turbocharged.
  12. Yeah man we sort something. I'll look when I'm free tomorow. And yeah ill swap the eg for a jeep..
  13. Haha nice man. Good when it all works out.. I think you'll be happy when your all done. I drove to japfest with a friend with a modified wrx. And the tuned C4 gave it a spanking in a straight line I even had a passenger and a full tank. Hehe. We were impressed
  14. Someone on here has this working also i can't remember who. Someone had a blue tooth adapter sticking out side of center console. I questioned it and they got an obd2 port there. @Chandler maybe? Oh i Can't remember
  15. Thats cool man. Sorry I did sound like a nob there. Wasn't my intention was purely tryung to point you in the right direction quickly because I had a about 45 seconds spare and seen tour question which j knew how to find the answer because I only recently fitted one myself
  16. They are pretty tasty. Love borbets
  17. You can adjust pedal slightly. Using nut under dash at the top of the pedal. It's obvious when you look. But you should always have free play on the pedal. Never have it making contact when no pressure applied. If your bite point is out of the ordinary then you could either have a hydraulic issue or some part of the clutch or release fork is worn.
  18. Tell ya what tho that one joint, you could teach the plumbers at my work a thing or two. Even on a Yorkshire fitting like that they all smother solder all over and end up with stalactites all over the joint. Eeewww rough barstards!
  19. Yes but where are you teeing it into??? It isn't needed. The larger diameter one obviously needed as it's thermostat bypass. I wouldn't go teeing into any other lines mate.
  20. Well I missed out the tb. Just used a longer piece of hose to go straight from head to iacv. Blocked the small random one on the skunk intake with a piece of hose and a bolt shoved in it. Standard procedure.lol.
  21. http://importnut.net/turbotimer.htm There we go took me roughly ten seconds to find that
  22. Wire it all on ignition switch. Search Google images and all will be explained.
  23. Nicely done man. Got there in the end. Curious to see what your using that copper T for? Also the eg throttle cable doesn't work the outer sheet is long enough but the inner cable is too short. You do need the dc2 one with the cable stop. I sourced one from civiclife breaker.
  24. @krzys. Yeah bring just in case. A safety pin too.
  25. You may notice couple of things that have changed
