Thanks everyone for your help. The problem has now been resolved. I didn't do anything at all. I simply went to the alarm installer and shouted a bit. He begrudgingly got an engineer to check it over. Sure as hell there was a fault caused by alarm wiring

I don't seem to have issues with whale p***s. Car makes good power. Sure will probably get heat soak in traffic. But your not gonna be racing in traffic. Run a cold air feed to it and it's a winner for power and noise

Right you may be onto something. I used to get a very annoying noise in my mb6 when seats were up. Went when seats wee down. More of a squeak than a knock. I shoved a bit of grease In the hole on back of seat where latch is. Solved it for a couple if months. Regrease noise gone again for couple of months

I love slips but on the right car. Can't really go wrong with grids tho!! I quite fancy slips myself just can't afford them -
What I've been trying to get at is the mg links don't knock usually. The civic ones knock cus there crappie. Maybe you should see if you can hear where it's coming from if someone else rocks the car.

Ahh mate you did have a slightly rocky start with yours but fair play you transformed it rapidly. You should be proud and enjoy it now. Looks stunning on new meisters! ! Just don't sell this one and buy a Fiat or something equally s**t.

I pull em out clean them up sand them lightly. Then loads of grease in the hole push the slider in and All the grease should make them springy if ya do it right.

Also on the caddy front. I seen a kinda flat orange coloured ratty one coming into Leicester. An audi tt gave it some to overtake and the caddy lit it rear tyres up and shot off like a v2 rocket. Was a beast!!!
