That is weird there is usually a white bar coded sticker on the box for model number and usually some black print on the casing itself stating lsd and sometimes other info. So how fast are you travelling in 5th gear at vtec 4500rpm? I ask because s9b you will be travelling at 85mph. S4c or similar 4.4fd box your at 80mph

Speaking of speed limited beemers I've chased a 650i right on its bumper upto 150 odd then he backed off. You won't be on the limiter at 132 as mention previously by someone 4th tops out around 120mph.

It hasn't. It's 4.4fd but has a relatively long 5th.Top speed is higher on the s9b. Probably 155mph on the right size wheels. I used to find my M struggling at high speed although it would top out 5th with enough road. The eg with a bit more power no problem getting up there at all. Also I don't miss the lsd at all either. I rarely launch the car and cornering is unaffected imo.

B16 delsol or something. My s4c is out an em1.

It's All about s4c/y21 for me. Dirt cheap and better acceleration but can still hit 150mph at just over 8k.

I can't do the whole heal toe thing maybe someone could show me one day. But I can do it with my foot 50/50 on both pedals. Achieves same thing. I hammer my van around so used to it I don't even use the clutch to shift.

glad its back and sorted, 210 for a cambelt is reasonable! but flipping heck they soon make it up with all the other bits 40 odd quid for aux belts each! crazy. leaset its all good to go now with some peace of mind.

Well if it's struggling to start sometimes just advance the timing.. move dizzy towards windscreen see if it helps then get set up properly. It'd probably make you feel better if you heard my engine mate. All sorts of ticks taps and rattles. Yet it's been like that forever and I've set everything up spot on. And it runs really well!
