glad its back and sorted, 210 for a cambelt is reasonable! but flipping heck they soon make it up with all the other bits 40 odd quid for aux belts each! crazy. leaset its all good to go now with some peace of mind.

Well if it's struggling to start sometimes just advance the timing.. move dizzy towards windscreen see if it helps then get set up properly. It'd probably make you feel better if you heard my engine mate. All sorts of ticks taps and rattles. Yet it's been like that forever and I've set everything up spot on. And it runs really well!

If we're comparing size. I got a 120gb 2.5" hdd in the glove box. 90 something gb of music on it. Head unit can become confused at times and everything you try and play it decides your having a hip hop nostalgia moment and plays Dr dre.

Very true at least it's getting done. I just get frustrated by how in this day and age everything seems to be a chore. Long winded and stuff always takes longer than expected or is done to a poor standard.

Ah s**t that is bad service from a main dealer. BeJesus.. I'd be expecting the water pump to have leaked as they always do after so long. So they should have made sure one was there before starting.
