    Yeah man ill be there. Tis a shame at the minute. I think I need to get over it and realise that it is a road car, its gonna get dirty underneathe and it will get knocked and scraped by the douche bags that say "what, its just a car"

    It is quite possibly the best colour in the world. If I had more Dow I would have had the eg pirates black. So beautiful in the sun.

    Well its only little niggles. Was to be expected. I will have it all sorted asap. Still don't know how often ill drive it. Looks so mint I'm scared to keep it outside my house. So tucked it back up in garage. How sad ay.

    Eg seems to have very poor airflow due to lack of grill. Yeah drove about 3 miles earlier and heat soak was obvious. Pulled up and air filter was untouchable. hmmm will put cold feed to that corner and see what I can knock up to isolate the filter from the rest of the bay. Similar to prezes or raz s .

    Cars off the street. Couldnt bare it, people cant drive or park for s**t round here. So its gone back in me mums garage for now. Few teething problems have cone to light anyway. cv chucking grease everywhere, so have ordered a new driveshaft. its suffering from serious heat soak in traffic. Intakes about melting. So ordered a cold air feed that ill attempt to fit stealthily in fog light. couple of rattles to sort and most annoying one, wheel weights catch the caliper and make an annoying clicking noise. So need to shave a little off the front calipers. oh finally found some grey mats to help tidy up interior a little.

    Yep looking cool. Crazy gearbox sounds good. Best of both worlds. I'm sure the s9b used to drop of iabs between gears anyway. one thing I noticed with the s4c everychange puts you straight back at 6k. But motorway speeds engines screaming.

    flying colours. noticed it got a leaky cv joint. but its not split so fine. but i will get on it asap. btw. vtec changeover sounds absolutely mental. my phone doesnt pick it up well tho.

    Ok its in for its mot. So done a ten mile drive on the motorway to dynodaze. It goes well. The weight loss is I stantly noticable. Floor it in 5th even and it accelarates sooo good

    Thanks guys. Yeah super happy with it. Mot in the morning. been cruising about all night and she drives amazing. Set shocks on soft and with the new bushes etc the ride is very good and tight. just need to sort map out as current one is gash. But to be honest I've not even tried to drive it fast. Happy just pootling about in my new toy

    right this is it. i have been sooooooo busy today cleaning and doing bits and bobs. but this is it, the unveil! ive fitted front lip... ive fitted rear camber arms.. i have fitted lambda.. i have fitted wheels... i have fitted gas struts for bonnet... its gone from this... and this is how it stands today..

    Defo jefo. I dont think these project cars are ever finished are they.a friend of a friend has an amazing rover 25. Has a mental Audi turbo engine swap. Some serious custom body work and an amazing spec. But he doesn't seem to have actually driven it yet. Just constantly changing stuff and tweaking this that and the other. Never ending

    Thanks guys. I'm sooooo on a high at the minute its awesome. I've never gone this far with a car before . My word it feels good even if I have just handed over half a month's earnings. Seriously cannot wait to drive it now. And even more so when its got a Decent tune. Its not giving all its got at the minute. But to be honest, this ones all about the corners for me. Itr roll bars and asr brace next me thinks
