Car was covered in poo. So gave it a quick once over. Too late the poo has left marks in the lacquer. Not bad and I'm sure will polish out just fine. So stuck a cover over it for now. Body/paintwork isn't quite how it was, but still looks good after a wash. Super excited to get back on the road in this!

@Krzys yeah will do definitely. Poly bush the front lower arms aswell. Really helps. see civics at santa pod. My god the front wheels bounce back and forth like mad. Can see it from the standss. I mean I wasn't braking any records.. Bit my front wheels are well planted whilst launching On the vids.

Nicely done! Weird how they used a different subframe on our m's.
-
defo everything can be s**t up as long as the center piece is nice and fresh!

Silicone not gonna do a lot really. The line in has incredible pressure inside. And relies on compression of the joint to remain leak free. Try tighten it. Careful not to round nut. Otherwise new or good used line should do the job.
-
Not sure about d series dizzy. But b series has an offset slot to prevent 180 degree out. It can be swapped round but that requires removing dizzy and undoing snap ring and pushing out a pin.

@EmZvr The bridge service plug stops stock ecu making adjustments while manually set ignition timing

Love what you've done it looks awesome. Some real skill you've got. Amazing.

Suppose that depends where the leak is from. If it doea look as though you require a new rack. I would Maybe suggest buying from eBay from UK maybe and getting shipped to yourself In portugal. All the ma/mb/mc racks fit. Integra type r and eg civic racks fit. Although it's likely the lines may be slightly different.

Just a bit. Looks a right meaty bit of kit that ay.
-
If it helps will get decent mounts. Just curious. Might be my driving
-
Filled the torque mounts with polyurethane. despite having new mounts when engine swapped over. Has always had a little engine movement. Will fill mounts til it improves. Cheap fix.

Only a few cars can pull off three spokers.. and that's definitely one of them!

@Grant don't worry mate I am concurring. Started doing the H on eg's other day got bored doing it but yeah I will do. Thinking of shaving letters off on one actually. Smooth!

Car looks great btw!

Distributor should be compatible. Which cylinder are you using for timing light?
-
Oh yeah defo. To be honest though this time round IM gonna replace the input shaft bearing and put this 4th gear in and that will do for now. unless there's any other obvious damage to address. Can always pull it off again later if need be. Recon I can have gearbox removed in just over an hour nowadays. So not end of the world. Kinda reminds me of a kids stacking toy to work long as it all goes back in order. Some parts need to go in one way so need to observe the tabs etc. Else it won't be selecting properly.

Too right!! 80 quid a bargain. Indeed. Let him Deal with problem bolts. They'll probably come out anyway if ya give em a good whack with lump hammer first and loads of wd. If all else fails and you want rid.. what coilies are they and how much you want for em :)- 1,321 replies

Beautiful! What material have you used for interior? Some kind of leather?

Had my old box in bits this eve. Just kinda as a test run get my head round what does what and how it all works and goes together. I'll be honest its very simple. If you can use basic tools and have a brain cell or two. Sorted. This box has an issue with second gear. Literally can't select it past 6k Rpm. Also the box whines/growls at low speed. I would probably be in trouble if my wife wasn't in bed for messing up kitchen table. Well it has a protector on be fine. Here is box in pulled apart. I didn't disassemble the countershaft because I have no need to. I pulled the mainshaft apart to acquire my replacement 4th gear for the gearbox thats in the car now. Here it is looks to be in very good condition. You can see here the damage from grinding reverse by not stopping fully before selecting. also the box is noise at low speeds. The input bearing has physical damage and also sounds as rough as a stegosaurus's sphincter! Also the ns diff bearing sounds rough. I'm Suprised cus there flipping huuuuuge! check video I dunno how to embed it so done it old school. https://youtu.be/NSU566P3mrY

Usually yeah a good whack with the old lumpy gets em out
