I think using the springs on mb6 shocks is best. I seem to remember @weetec trying different combinations and had issues with civic springs on shorter mg shocks.

clean car on the day that's what I always do get up at rediculous o'clock. Get comments from the night before drunk stragglers. Fun times
-
Ooh get a pic up. I've been using a ghetto piece of rubber zippy tied onto brake stopper to prevent rubbage

@noodels. Calm down. Lol. Dunno I just gave it him said resurface that.. He told me a story about resurfacing a e type jag flywheel last week.. and I jumped back in my van and ate a cheese and salad sandwich. Cheddar for the record. trust he knows what he's doing. Never used them before but he's local and if good ill keep going back in future
-
Dropped it off at machine shop earlier For resurface.
-
@Grant you work there yeah? Have you told me this story? Maybe forgot. Ahhh so senile

Oh meant the car not the dog btw... sure the dog is lovely not a beast.

Haha clutch is f**ked. Flywheel isn't as bad as it looks. Just I guess because f1 clutch was pucked not a disc. It's not designed to the oem diameter. I'll get it sorted tomorow. just more money ay. Unless someone wants to sell me a decent light flywheel For cheap?
-
Haha that rare jdm bumper strip thingy majig. Thought that was standard????
-
@Chandler say that when I'm driving it and it works. May have been a complete waste of time at this point.

I have got 26mm arb in the shed. But it has the silly ball jointed droplinks.. I'm not a fan off them. I like the straight bolt through types. Haha bless it I feel like I'm polishing a turd with this deck so many dents everywhere rear bumper and tailgate looks like someone's played the drums on it. But I do love it. Great daily for sure. Need to cracked on and get my wheels on etc.

So basically I have to get flywheel resurfaced. The f1 stage 3 clutch disc has a slightly smaller diameter which has left a ridge on the flywheel. Due to the slightly larger diameter of the exedy its gonna be right on that ridge. So I am gonna have to take flywheel in and get the ridge taken off. I'll let pics do the talking.

been busy tonight got the box sorted and all sealed up. Cleaned the case out best I could and cleaned up the mating edges. Knocked out old bearing and removed seal gently tapped new seal in using rubber mallet and 32mm socket. carefully tapped in new input shaft bearing with block of tiiimmmmbbberrrrr. cleaned, oiled and reassembled the shift mechanism and other bits n bobs. had a cuppa and put the case back on checking that it selects all the gears. So far so good that's all for now until sealant is dry I'm not tipping it in case oil comes out and disturbs sealant. so basically this is my previous gearbox which was whiney and had a bad 2nd gear that locked out at high Rpm. I have fitted the countershaft from last gearbox which had a working 2nd gear and a new input shaft bearing.

@philgor how do you mean??? Mine locked when you pressed fob. Now it just locks the doors and have to lock boot with key
-
Bit smarter and yes chrome strip next in list. Need to get in there any who as boot has stopped locking with the doors.
-
Yeah they are weirdos for sure. Unless someone detuned the car? That would be dumb but who knows. Defo 24mm on my deck tho. Have to buy some more. Oh well should have checked first ay

Might be some swearing. So need to do after watershed
