  1. Cool.. I think that's the way to go. I've been told you can feed say bit of rope through spark plug hole. Fill up the cylinder so the valves dont fall and do them that way. Better with head off tho.
  2. What in the blazes.. I'm all stealth elf mate. Black is the new... errr.... black
  3. @grant. Yes, yes ya do! Ooh sounds good. Tis good hair to be fair! Bit jel, I got a jafro.. or jake-afro
  4. @Grant Yeah man!! Not seen an update on your deck for a while. How's it doing??? It's the deck that made me want a deck!
  5. Ooh nice what wheels are they? ?? Billy bargain
  6. I thought so but i am becoming a geek. Never noticed before when I first Innstalled em. Mind you there getting old. But still seem to be holding up. May e replace em over the winter?
  7. @Chandler Goes the other way dude. Was on end groove before. So can push th fork further up the shock. Lowering about an extra inch. But I will wind the spring collars up aswell so ride height will be about the same but extra inch of travel.
  8. Good stuff as per usual. Gonna be worth it all, flying down road v8 blazing
  9. Sorry random observation.. I took coilovers off to clean them up. Noticed summit Since doing shock fork mod on the aerodeck. (Generic pic not mine) You can shift the fork up another inch straight off the bat! Nice! Will raise the springs and drop the fork. Same height but more shock travel always a good thing
  10. @DAVEMB2 I just don't know dave honestly I don't. I thrashed it when I owned it but maintained it at any cost. And it held up just great. Don't know what happened to it. Scratches and scrapes everywhere aswell. I don't care tho I'm gonna get over my ocd. It don't matter long as runs good.
  11. Not sure gonna be able to help just like that. most suppliers will give you a chart specific to the vehicle that tells you best place to splice in and which colours to look for. generally speaking though I would suggest you will be able to find trigger wires in drivers footwell. But what to look for I don't know.
  12. Bearing ordered. why is it input shaft bearing for virtually any car is between 12-30 quid.. honda b series 50 quid. What the heck.
  13. Ooya beef love an old lexarse. Glad to see you still got the M tho!!
  14. Not really haha. Tell ya what tho hardest thing is getting the fooking case back on. What a chore. Keep practising it. try get it right when there's sealant on. Don't want a leak.
  15. Well mine happen in the dining room. box from the car was full of shards and the bearing feel rough as a badgers arse. So I've gone the other way round. Instead of pinching 4th gear to repair that box. I took 2nd gear from it and put that in the old box I had. IM gonna order an input shaft bearing today and a clutch. Fingers crossed it works.
  16. Right then nostril gooses. Bad day really. took gearbox off and had to leave car up on stands. gonna assess the gearbox tonight but not too hopeful so many iron filings on magnetic plug. But having said that the plug may have saved the day catching all that. So fingers crossed. Other problem is the clutch is absolutely ruined. Stage 3 20000 miles on it maybe. And it's worn past rivets and rivets are loose so the friction pads move about. Glad IM addressing problem now though. Knew it wasn't right clutch was biting so high. Oem one going back in. Old vs new. I knew bought a deck for a reason!
  17. @Chandler What dya mean on WhatsApp? Jeez. was only joking. Don't want everyone thinking I'd swallow up a bucket seat. I'm tight like a cochon dinde! Thats french for guinea pig btw.
  18. ok ya got me.. I wanted to see if I could take a 2.5" collector..I can take oem manifold with room to spare.
