hard to tell by looking at the pics... they look like they've been taken from different sides but in the guff on that one the guy says it's off a b16... think the teg one's lighter again? don"t like the idea of that repair stuff, me mate had a c2 gt what had that.. he got a puncture and used it and it didn't work, and had to get the aa out... then was told that they couldn't repair the tyre coz the gunk knacks them.

aye... I was just thinking when I was polishing the last bit.."wonder if I can just get a sexy heat shield instead.... D'OH!" haven't decided about the brackets yet... they look a bit daft and are the hardest to clean, but handy if I decide to go for a shield. other than that I think it's a straight swap - think the jdm cat has a different fitting? is it rotated a bit I think... I think uk one is same though... ... fingers crossed I think it's less restrictive than standard, but still 4.2.1 - was worried about a 4-1 coz of the lowered action...

Well, been a few weeks of bargains currently waiting to get stuck on to Tubs: Got one of the (nearly) new MG rear ARBs that were knocking about a couple of weeks ago, and last night won a bargain ITR exhaust mani and down tube for a tenner. Going down to pick up the exhaust bits tonight, and need to use the ol' tap and die to clean out the fixings for the arb so I can get that on.... then its a full timing belt service at the weekend and MOT (and I think a tracking rod end). Busy time for tubs, next month need to get some attention to the bottom of a couple of doors where the paint's worn thin and sarting to feel a bit rough - need it done before the corrosion dust is put on the roads Also hoping to make my custom sub affair next month... been planning it for too long now - just need to get it done!
